"I had a terrible experience with Dr. Bawa. I went for botox in my glabella and corners of my mouth. He mistakenly injected my forehead, then said he would not charge me for it. He missed the correct muscles around my mouth, and 2 weeks after my injections I was left with an unnatural "joker" smile which also made my neck bands pop out. My mouth felt very unnatural, almost like it was bound, and I even had a hard time saying certain words. When I tried to bite into a sandwich I couldnt move my bottom lip from over my bottom teeth. The surrounding muscles overcompensated and I had extreme tension in my jaw muscles. When I called to express my concerns, I was told to leave a text message! Several messages went back and forth between myself, the office manager, and Dr. Bawa, including pictures of the error. I was offered another visit to "try" to fix the problem at no charge, but I declined. My face is not a blank slate for trial and error. In 10 years of receiving botox, this was my first extreme problem. I went to another injector for help and spent $800 more to release the tension I was experiencing in my jaw. That's how adamant I was about not returning to Dr. Bawa and letting him try for free. I thought I did my research and read all the great reviews for this doctor, but apparently it wasn't enough. That's why I'm leaving this review so hopefully others will read about my experience and consider going to a better trained "facial" practitioner to do their injections."
