"Sometimes when you call there they are so rude. Dr. Walker walked out of the room while I was in labor with my 5 year old and I birthed and caught her all by myself and then he yelled at me because I didn't have an epidural so he could control my labor. My gynecologist left and I am high risk for cervical cancer but I would rather die from cervical cancer than ever let him come near me again. My kids pediatrician left but thankfully opened his own practice in town. Both of my primary care physicians left and the one that stayed to open his own practice was so accusatory and assumptive when I went in for mental health care that I have never been back. Who knows what kind of retaliatory action I will face for this review. Oh and the pharmacy staff looks at me with a dead-pan expression on their face that makes you feel very unwelcome and concerned they know your medical needs. In a small town I don't want people who possibly dislike me to have my medical information so I switched pharmacies as well. I'm going to try the new gynecologist. Wish me luck"
"Recently I had an insurance problem with a doctor I had seen outside of the Medical Center. I spent hours trying to get the insurance problem resolved without success. Finally, I reached out to the staff in the medical center that handle insurance issues. In one day they had handled the situation and found a way for me not to have to pay the bills. I have always been happy with Dr. Low. Now I'm also very thankful for the Medical Center staff."
"I have a GP there that I am pleased with and would give her four stars. My issue is with merger that took place with DWM and put everything under the Escambia County Health Authority. With the old BMC, I had an account and could access my health info through my doctor's office. With the merger it has become like some top secret organization and good luck getting any help registering your patient account. I have made multiple attempts to get help and have access to no avail, they just ignore you!"
"Dr. Heath and Dr. Ludca are the only pleasant doctors there. Other then themI don't know what all these 5 and 4 star reviews are from. Maybe staff? The doctors here are quacks. Broken finger? Here's antibiotics. White blood cell count to high? Here's antibiotics. Hearing loss? Antibiotics. You can't get in touch with any of the offices. Don't call between 11 and 2 because they're at lunch. Need a referral? After the visit and a week of waiting call to ask what's up they have no record of it. Not sure how this place isn't sued out of business. Not even sure that some of the "doctors" are really doctors. The worst of them all is "Dr." Morgan. That's just my experience."
"Not a long waiting time as most appointment are in large Hospitals. Friendly respectful nursing staff. Well placed sinage and information about your location. Parking in close proximity to entrance and exits."
