Janell took the time to make sure I was comfortable and thoroughly explained each part of the process. I learned about the importance of proper skincare and more importantly, was made aware of the importance of using sunblock on a daily basis. Just because you’re not at the beach doesn’t mean you’re not exposed to the sun! Janelle’s professionalism, knowledge, and passion for her craft, made for a great experience. She was very flexible with me since I am a mom trying to balance everything. The financial aid advisor Maria was also welcoming. "About to start there but before ive even attended classes i had a great meeting with Clara and Nelson. Ive never been to a school where the director and staff cares so much about peoples lives. They are so supportive and genuinely want the best for people. I have no doubt that the classes will be as great as the people who work there."

"I unfortunately am a graduate of Cortiva and it was the most unprofessional pathetic excuse for a "business". The school is falling apart and dirty. The staff is absolutely terrible and chain smoke cigarettes all day. The moment you sign that enrollment contract you mean nothing to them. You are simply a dollar sign. In the 6 months I went to school there we had a new teacher every month and FOR ONE FULL MONTH we did not even have a teacher. We just saw upstairs all day. Also, 3 different "directors" the current one Nelson bullied students into tears and falsely tried to kick a student out of the program. (It didn’t workout for him) The person in charge of filing the license filed my license wrong two times (and many other students). Then got fired and when I kept reaching out to the school to have it corrected they told me they would handle it and never did anything. I finally got into contact with corporate they also filed my license incorrect for a third time I spent hours on the phone with the state sorting it out myself which took two months after graduating. When I expressed to the director and corporate my frustration about this issue, not having access to my book anymore, and paying $13,000 for a 6 month program I didn't have a teacher for 1 month of they stoped replying to me, won't answer my calls or emails. The $450 you have to pay for the online book is such a waste. You loose access to the book the day you complete the course. Whatever you do go anywhere but this absolute SCAM."

"Honestly at first this school was really getting me stressed out and really just not overall motivated to come because the way the teachers taught was really boring and it definitely felt like they did not care about the students and the machines, products etc. but now i am in the paramedical course with a new teacher that just came in and had everything dropped on her like grading our homework, having to deal with students being upset by the broke machines , not enough products and within a week or two she has been able to speak up for us and really help us by getting ALL our machines fixed and having talking to the campus director about the products. Same with nelson he has to deal with a lot as well and I understand he got years of horrible management dropped on him and has been trying his best to recreate this school in the best way which he has been doing so I am thankful for my new teacher liah for actually listening to us the students and helping us out. She makes teaching and learning fun within the literal two weeks she’s been here she’s made an impact than all the other teachers who have been here for years. I’m excited and hoping this school keeps this good streak going."
