"The doctor requested lab work. Their lab is out sourced but the company is housed in the medical building. The lab tech sat me down then asked me to pay $125.00 before lab tech could begin drawing my blood. I have never paid to have my lab work done. I found it odd to be in a small laboratory, sitting in the lab chair and the lab tech asking for exchange of payment. I decided against having my lab work done due to the unnecessary cost. I contacted my insurance company to discover my lab work is 100% covered. My insurance representative stated with the medical office outsourcing their lab, it must be out of network therefore it would require me to pay. Please be aware that you may have additional unnecessary cost due to the medical center not having their own lab."
"I called and the lady at the front desk had the worst attitude ever over the phone, I have severe anxiety and I have to work myself up to try to even call and it doesn’t help when she is so rude. I had a question about how to do a refill and she transferred me and they didn’t pick up, I tried calling several times and they didn’t pickup. so overall I’m just really disappointed and now will have to figure out if I want to keep going here."
"Very unsatisfied with quality of care. I left messages for 3 days and never heard back from the nurse. I finally called and got a receptionist to help me. My RX for my mammogram and a drug were both ordered wrong. Of course I’m not going back. I hate to be so negative but if they would take the time to look at feedback from patients and make an effort to correct some policies it could be a nice office. Good luck"
"I want to preface this by saying the only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of Dr. Brown- I’d give him 10+. I could write a book on what an amazing doctor he is! However, the office staff there are so unorganized and unhelpful. I was referred here from Baldwin GYN & Aesthetics for a surgical procedure. Getting in for my pre-surgery appointment and surgery all went well. But I could never get in for a follow up appointment. I understand him being one of the best doctors in the area and that keeps him busy but what I didn’t expect was to get the run around from their office staff for 6 months!!!! For 6 months these women would schedule me and then the day before my appointment would call and ask to reschedule. Once they even scheduled me, checked me in and let me sit in the waiting room for almost an hour before telling me that Dr. Brown was not in the building that day and once again rescheduled me. This unprofessional and repetitive rescheduling occurred until I moved out of state. Once I did, I called to cancel my appointment and then received calls for an additional 2 months asking me to reschedule again. I quit answering the phone and gave them the same lack of regard they had for my health. I could not suggest a better OBGYN than Dr. Brown but you’ll likely never get past the unorganized front desk to actually see him."
"Hope (manager) lies to her patients so she doesn’t have to do any work. Older lady at front desk is rude and likes to hang up on patients. Refuses medical records twice had to go above the manager just to get an answer, on day 3 of asking for my wife’s medical records we were told it’s a long process and that’s why they don’t print them. Per office manager. She gave me her card and said she would gladly return my call at the least I called over 5 times and left multiple voicemails and still haven’t received and message back. They are taking in more patients then they can care for and expect all the patients to be fine with the little treat ment they give."
