"My Wife & I are both students. As Adults in our 50's we were looking for a activity to do together, so we decided to learn Piano. We were hesitant to finding a school that wasn't going to pressure us into purchasing outrageous packages or memberships and apps or online schools are not up to par in my opinion. We tried out East Orlando School of Music and when I went for information. Jessica was great in informing me everything about the school patiently and professionally. Our first class with Ms Katelyn was great and my Wife and I knew we were in the right place. Even Jackson has participated with me and I left actually playing a song with out any kind of previous music instruction. At East Orlando, we are treated with great consideration. They welcomed us with great joy, like if we are part of a family. Even my Service Dog is welcomed and sits while I try tickling the ivories. As Adults, sometimes it's more difficult to learn, than kids, but I have learned a few songs so far on piano and when I leave, I have the biggest smile because I achieved something I thought wasn't possible. With all the resources they provide, I'm learning music theory, reading music and playing notes and chords. Yup, me who has 2 left feet and 2 left hands to match. I appreciate the entire staff at East Orlando School of Music for your patience and dedication in teaching us how to play a instrument. Looking forward to my next class. Thanks Guys for everything. For someone new to the area as well (college), I came in with almost 0 experience with music hoping to get myself into it for a hobby, and they happily obliged.
