"This review is solely based on my family’s experience. This school had so much potential and ruined it because of either greed or poor decisions and administration. The campus is beautiful, it’s high tech and they have great teachers. As mentioned in previous reviews high teacher turnover. The kids no longer have a cafeteria they eat lunch in their classroom with no teacher supervision. Why don’t they have a cafeteria? Because someone decided that it was more important to install a super expensive dance floor. They no longer have an art classroom, now the art teacher goes from class to class. Why? Because they doubled the student capacity from last year and squeezed everyone into one building. Instead of keeping the same capacity and waiting until building two was completed. If you complain the principal will say that this is a choice school (which is true, that’s why we left) and they have a waiting list of over 1,000 people waiting for a spot. We took our kids out two months into this school year after enduring all the issues last year. The bullying that goes on in the 4th and 5th grade group is shocking. Worst of all the administration knows who the bullies are and they do not know how to handle the situation so the bullies keep getting more aggressive. It feels like a lord of the flies situation which is alarming. My kids are good kids and we didn’t want them in that toxic environment. I also know parents that had great experiences here. Ask around and do your due diligence and see if this school is right for your kid. Sadly it did not align with our values. Good luck."

"Nice school but very high teacher turnover because they are very overworked. Principal gives no notice to parents or students...teachers just disappear. It's a shame because the campus is nice but clearly the Admin needs to change."

"I had to remove my daughter from this school. Never ever bring your kids here! My daughter experienced bullying and staff never did anything about it. Many fights in her grade which caused people that weren't even envolved to get punished! I get this is a new school but, many things were ruined because of it. We had to travel almost 1 hour every day just to take her to school, then her "break" or as I should say recess got taken away just because we weren't aloud to go outside for no reason which resulted in no brake and more overwhelming work. Not worth it!!"

"Terrible school terrible administration. We had to remove our kids because it was chaos everyday. My one child witnessed violence in the classroom more than once. Teachers that were overwhelmed. I would not recommend to anyone."

"My two kids love this school! It's clean and pretty. The teachers and staff love being there, love there jobs and are amazing! You can tell and it makes a big difference with the kids, they feel the pride of the school. The kids are happy and work very hard, parents are involved. It's an honor and privilege to be a part of Mater Academy."
