"I used to love this school but if you are a nurse looking to fulfill your bachelor's degree I would advise you to look anywhere else. They all about money here they don't help students at all it's like u have to fight with them to stay in class mind u my employer pays for my class let u miss 4 days of payment they are trying to drop u from your classes. Robin from financial services is very nasty and she don't even try to offer help to students or anything. NEVER AGAIN WHEN I TELL U I GOT 1 class left and I don't even wanna finish with them!!! I am for sure not getting my masters here."
"As of September 2017 to September 2018 I have only completed three courses and that is because University of Phoenix makes it very difficult for you to get your degree I was going for my BS to become a teacher and they gave me such a hard time for almost a year now I only took 3 classes which now I have to pay because after the three months they told me that financial aid could not pay anymore so now I'm stuck with monthly payments for 5 months been on and off of taking classes and have not had a degree or at least 12 months of classes. this school is so nice to you in the beginning when you're trying to get into school but financial advisors are terrible people to work with all they want to do is push for your credit card and push for your money I would not recommended this school to anybody before I signed up for school at University of Phoenix I read up on other people's reviews but I didn't believe all the Terrible Things that they were saying until I actually went through it myself I wish I would have listened to all the bad reviews because the bad reviews tell the truth this school is a money hungry and the advisors are the worst people in the whole wide world to work with they are so quick to send you to collections terrible terrible School would not recommend it please believe me don't go through all the hardship listen to all the bad reviews because they are all true I am a single mother going through hardships with money and after seeing all the emotional commercials on TV where a single parent is working and going to school and trying to get a degree is BS they are liars this is a bad school and if you really really look you will see only 33% graduates from the school out of a hundred percent I was better off going to a community college"
"University of Phoenix is an incredible school. One of the reasons is the faculty. Having a faculty of scholars working in their field means you learn real world skills and knowledge instead of multiple choice answers to textbooks and lectures."
"I started University of Phoenix in June 2016 and I am currently in the process of taking my college Algebra class. The introduction to Algebra class was waaay more intense then I thought it would be. However, Phoenix provides us students with so many tools so that it's almost impossible to fail. The only thing I would suggest if your thinking about attending this school is, PRACTICE TIME MANAGEMENT! There is a lot of work that is given to you but if you break it down into a routine and stick to the routine then you should be fine. All in all, this is a great school, before I decided to do it I was like you. Reading all of these reviews, but you know what? Just Do It. I mean they give you a grace period anyway if you feel like you cant hang and want to back out then do so. So, whats you got to loose?"
"I spoke to adviser last week, regarding class, and they said they would call back.. well a week later i still have not received a call back registering regarding classes, at least your competitors return calls the same day. Horrible service"
