"this place is full of hate, i had so many micro-aggressions towards me and my ethnic features and the teachers do nothing at all, i’ve gone to this school my whole life but it’s never gotten better, it’s actually gotten worse with the constant changing principals. the last time it was good was when mr king was principal and it still sucked. there’s just so much drama here and my experiences at this school is one of the reasons why my family moved. i’ve been called stuff like muzzie and dog legs and i’ve had “allahu akbar” screamed at me in the halls just bc my religion, only good thing about this school was a handful of teachers like mrs yarberry, mrs santinho, and mrs zitello."

"IDK what exactly is going on here. Went to pick up my step son from extended day, the lady at the desk tells me he checked out early, sick. His other parents know nothing about it, thankfully he WAS still at the school, but where's the accountability of my kids location? That was an unnecessary heart attack, while we waited 20 minutes for them to track him down. And how are these entities not communicating and coordinating with each other? What a circus..."

"I have had a lot of great memories at this school, and I have gone here since it first opened so I’m a Valley Ridge expert. This school definitely has its ups and downs. Most of the teachers are very welcoming and sweet! My favorite teachers at this school have been Mrs. Zitello, Mrs. Dresback, Mrs. Cally, Mrs. Townsend and Mrs. Kovacs. Also, the activities such as field trips, fun runs, and 5th grade field day IS A BLAST! Most of the teachers care about your education and will explain material very well. HOWEVER, there are some teachers that show favoritism. I have had countless teachers who choose their children to do certain activities. There is also a bullying problem; I know so many people who have bullied students because of disabilities and these bullies think it’s funny. Lastly, the administration doesn't handle students with "behavioral issues" properly. Students with behavioral issues get treated like royalty. One student bullied a whole class before getting expelled."

"This school is not good. We are treated like little babies and I understand that we have to have rules but the staff is not taking a good approach towards it. As far as the appearance of the school, it's slowly becoming less "new" and becoming more of a rotting paint job. Also, kids are getting trampled in the hallways, and also all the events like dances are under planned. I wouldn't not recommend this school for kids unless they are in elementary. Many middle school teachers hold grudges against the kids and it's not fair, so I would not rate it very good."
