"This School is a great place to get your kids started in music education. It’s a performance based music program so the lessons are supplemented with band rehearsals and the kids learn classic rock songs almost right away. I’ve seen a trial lesson with my kid go from not having any experience on piano to being able to play along to the recording of Dreams, the Fleetwood Mac song. When they jumped into a band rehearsal to play the song they just learned it was a magical moment! I’ve seen musical lessons defined by vague goals in the weekly meetups so it’s refreshing to see School of Rock putting kids in bands and eventually on the stages of local concert venues!"
