"The nurses were great and did what they could for us. My son spent 4 days in the hospital I saw the surgeon and doctors once the second day we was there. I didn’t see anyone else until I threatened to take my son somewhere else because I didn’t get any updates on anything dealing with results or the next step. They said my some couldn’t eat for almost 24 hours because he was going to surgery and he didn’t get surgery then another 12 hours no eating still no surgery. Then the last night there after I threatened to take him somewhere else a doctor finally came to talk to me &’ the next day they decided to discharge him no surgery was done. I wouldn’t recommend this place no notes in the system for the next hospital or doctor to see about his condition. Very slack"

"I have two kids with special medical needs requiring frequent ER visits and hospitalization. After leaving the NICU we committed to PB Children's and up until our last visit I would have recommended this facility for local treatment but now my advice is stay away. It was more like keeping your little one in prison from the fist fight behind the curtain next to us in the ER to the bed bug in our room on admission to the disgusting common areas the facility is the worst. Attempts to address concerns directly on our stay went completely unanswered. If you think you will be admitted with your little one take the time to drive for quality care in Ft Lauderdale at Joe D or Miami at Nicklaus This place is disgusting and unwelcoming to say the least."

"Worse experience ever for my first time. Got here at 245am and was sent to the back at 413am and the nurse didn't come to see us until 507am after I complained. Now currently waiting on the doctor which they seem to only have one tonight with so many patients. I have witnessed three patients left because they couldn't any longer."

"This was my son’s third trip to the ER this week. He went to Palms West twice and they discharged him although he was still having respiratory problems. St Mary’s and their attentive staff absolutely saved my son’s life. We are admitted here bc an experienced doctor recognized the severity of his illness. If you’re looking for pediatric care that is thorough and effective, come here. Your kids are worth it."
