"Wonderful attention to my mom in 3SW Floor. Doctors were attentive, and the nurses and supportive staff as well. especially I want to give thanks to Nurses: Claudia from Night shift for being so great and helpful as well as Nurse Neshia and PCT Abigail from day shift amazing! Nurse Manager Karen thank you. PT Marta so helpful and knowledgeable on my mom’s rehab. All in all a great experience."
"My mother was in the ICU here for about a little over a month. My family lives about 2 hours away from here so we tried our best to come every other day to visit my mom. All the nurses in the ICU were amazing and so caring to my mom and my family. I have 3 younger siblings in which one is a new born and then my brother and my preteen sister. On the week my mom got out of the hospital we were able to bring my newborn sister to see her mom after a whole month of not seeing her and everyone even the nurses were emotional... 10/10 experience in my opinion"
"I must say before I begin, the nurses here are incredible. Thank God for them, including the RNs who went to school for so long, and are having to clean bathrooms due to being understaffed. That being said....administration, case workers and the so called team of doctors there screwed up for four days while my friend was there. I am taking care of my friend tonight because she was sent home not being able to walk and was told she was mobile enough to go home and do her own drip. The supplies came to her house which are much needed come tomorrow. The supplies were ordered wrong. If this drip is not done correctly, she could have kidney failure. So, wrong supplies and no nurse scheduled to come to teach her how to use them. In summary. Can anyone recommend a lawyer? Maybe a lawyer will read this. Worst hospital ever. I am not one that believes in suing someone for every little thing, but seriously. You are drs. Supposed to be trained. They screwed up so, so many times then sent her home because they needed the bed. They have no beds there. If there are no beds, advise the patient to go to another hospital for God's sake. It's not brain surgery. I will ask again. Lawyer please? She has ŵorked all her life and is now retired. I would only hope she would get to enjoy it. Sincerely, Rita And the photo I posted, I love Christmas decorations also. But if you don't have the staff to clean the bathrooms or get medical orders correct??? Really? By all means, let's pay someone to put up the lights.."
"Jennifer M in the surgical waiting made our time in the waiting room so comfortable and helped pass the tender hours waiting for our loved one having a major surgery. She is not only deeply compassionate and caring, but also detail oriented and well organized. As the family members of a JFK surgical patient, we feel like we’re in really good hands with this level of one on one attention to our needs. We’re grateful to Jennifer M for making this time in the hospital so much easier. My mom was very emotional at first and Jennifer hugged her like an old friend. A few hours later they literally were dancing together to a cellphone ring tone. Brought smiles to everyone!"
"I wasn't sure which country I was in when I came to this hospital for my wife. To call it disorganized, disorderly, and just plain nasty is an understatement. It didn't look busy when we arrived, but if you just sit back and listen, it sounded like DEFCON. It's a perfect description of what drowning on a drop of water looks and sounds like. If the staff is in a panic, how do we, as patients, feel? Unbelievable!!!! When we were finally given the room, it looked more like a closet. It was dark, with no sheets. Pillows arrived later, and there appeared to be biological fluid from a past patient. Don't get me started on the restroom; my wife was going to at least use the restroom, and "OH MY LORD, IS THAT BLOOD?" I wasn't expecting a 5-star suite, but I also wasn't expecting a third-world country one either. I would not recommend it to anyone who still has a chance at life. Apparently, the only area of training the staff receives is in collecting my personal information for billing. Hats off to the team; they were extremely efficient in this area."
