"The school is very good academically, i have no complaint about the teacher . However after leaving the school my daughter told me that the principal called the children "dumb babies" for crying for their parents the first few days of schools. Then she had all of them put their head down and after that she made them write a page of lines saying they where babies for crying. A+ academically. F on compassion."

"I’ve been with mater since elementary and there are no words to express how much I absolutely love this school. They taught me how to speak English when I needed it and made sure that you had everything you needed to be a good student. All teachers are hardworking and dedicated to their jobs. There will never be a perfect school because everyone makes mistakes but in this school we are taught to learn from our mistakes and move on. Thank you to all my teachers who push me to be a better person everyday. This school will forever be part of my family and no one said school was easy but at least in mater we have fun learning while we can.-Class of 2023"

"I started this school back when I was in 6th grade. I didn't know English so it was really tough on me. Everybody made sure I felt welcomed and every teacher treated me great! I loved all my teachers Ms. Torres, Mr.Coronel, Coach Aedo, the staff from the kitchen and the securities but everyone made the difference! I graduated from Mater Academy in the Summer of 2015. Now most of the teachers and the staff are at SLAM, the school that my brother attends!"

"I will not recommend this school ,a lot of problems inside the school with students ,also they did not help students with learning problems. Teachers some are really good and the other they don't care students are doing ok or not, they ask for parents email and numbers but they never contact any parents to let theme know about felling grades. also they don't have any programs like public schools for the help of students. they not even have schools counselor who you can speak about students grades."
