Reviews of Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School
"This has been the worst experience. There is a bunch of disruptions during class and a lot of disrespectful students towards teachers. Teachers don’t care what the kids do in this school. They alow kids to get away with things that they are doing wrong. The principal of this school (sister.margritanne) doesn’t know how TO MANAGE A SCHOOL. All the sisters in this school don’t know how to do there job right . There is no school spirit, no activities, and prep rally’s are horrible. This school only knows how to ask for money they basically force the kids to give money cause they don’t have enough for example, the lunch room, gym, actives, and Pep rally’s usually kids have to pay for this which is unfair. THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE DO NOT PUT YOUR KID IN THIS SCHOOL ITS SURROUNDED BY ALOT OF BULLYING."
"In 2016 My son graduated from ACC. Its was the perfect fit from the very beginning. He loved it and acclimated very quickly. Most of the students were great kids and the environment was wonderful. He is now in Boston on his second year of college and was academically ready to move into college. My youngest started this year as a freshman and really didn't want to go there. His first choice was St. B. He is totally loving ACC and is glad that he is there. Thank you"
"WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!! Ever since Sister Margret Ann became principle this school has gone downhill. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY! They will trick you into thinking that its a great catholic environment for your your child. My wife and i made a huge mistake enrolling my niece into this school! No school spirit , the administration sucks , they only care about tuition money , and very disorganized. They also do not offer much for the students unlike other schools that have a wide variety of clubs and sports to choose from! My niece had an incident with other students and i did not get notified about the bullying situation till about almost a week later when the guidance counselor decided to finally call my wife. The situation was reported several times and was not documented ,disused , or handled immediately. This school does not go by the handbook! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!"
"I'm writing this review solely based on the athletic department of ACC, more specifically the baseball department. My son is a sophomore at ACC and has been in the baseball team since he started school as a freshman. I've never had a problem or complaint about the athletic department, but as of late, I've noticed inconsistencies in the rotation of players and which students get to play in games since the change in coaching staff. Speaking with other parents while at my son's games, I've realized I'm not the only person with these concerns regarding the new coach."
"Our oldest daughter is currently a sophomore at this school and she absolutely loves it. The teachers are very experienced and the school environment is great!!! We love this school and highly recommend it for its balance between academics, sports and spiritual values. They truly prepare the students for college-level academics with AP courses and Dual enrollment classes. ACC has also taken a step forward to teach using technology, with the implementation of the one-to-one ipad program, and the use of digital textbooks… Our youngest daughter, who is currently in 8th grade, is also really excited to start as a freshman for the next school year!!!"
