"We did a double date with some friends we ordered some appetizer like the grape leaves and the hummus, and for some reason they were not good, lacks flavor …the lamb chop which I have to say was not the best in flavor also. The ambience was really nice for being a Saturday. They look like a really slow night. The was nice, but for some reason in the background, we’ve must’ve heard like three plates falling to the ground. They put us right next to a table with loud kids, I believe they could’ve accommodated us better when the whole restaurant was pretty much empty."

"This place is a beautiful little gem tucked off sunset. The vibe is so relaxing and the food portions are perfect. We started with hummus that was light with a mild citrus. I had the beef kabad and my boyfriend had the lamb for our mains. Both were delicious. And enough to leave you full but not so stuffed you can’t move. And if you take anything from this review.. GET THE BAKLAVA! It was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The hit of floral.. I think rose? Chef’s kiss! We will be back."

"Had a nice late lunch with friends. Shared a handful of apps, a main, and a bottle of Proseco. Everything was well seasoned, tasty, and at the right temp. Staff was attentive without hovering. Definitely enjoyed our meal and plan to bring some other folks to try a few other dishes."

"Another hidden gem in Sunset! I visited this restaurant for dinner with my wife last Friday since we were in the mood for a quick bite of food. I made the reservation with OpenTable and drove to the place from home. Kalimera is located on 71st St. There is plenty of parking near that you can choose from (make sure you have the PayByPhone app installed to make it even easier). We were greeted by Khaled who ushered us to our table, he gave his recommendations and brought us drinks. We decided to order the Kalimera Trio as the appetizer, we shared the grilled lamb, and the Kabab combo beef. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh, I am definitely returning with family and friends."

"Excellent service and delicious food. Hummus appetizer was great - you could really taste the fresh lemon. My fiancé had lamb chops and I had the shrimp. Perfectly cooked. Rice and vegetables were very tasty."
