"If I could give a zero star rating of this school, I would. From the perspective of a student who attended Mason Classical Academy, the staff here are extremely unprofessional. They do not care about parents or students. I have firsthand heard staff gossip about students and speak negatively of parents behind their backs. The teachers here are terrible with students. At the very least, they are unqualified. I have had many friends at this school who have learning disabilities and attention disorders, and teachers would get frustrated while trying to teach them. Mason Academy claims that they are inclusive of all students and accept students regardless of disability, but their teaching methods disprove this. In addition to the teachers being terrible, the principal and vice principal are uncooperative with parents and cruel towards students. They have to be the most rude and apathetic people I have ever met. This school claims they have a rigorous curriculum, but the educators at this school do not take their job seriously. Half of them give students enough work to cause a burnout, and the other half joke around and talk for the majority of the class instead of teaching. The staff at the front desk are unhelpful and incompetent. Students are bullied every day at this school, and nothing is done about it. Take it from somebody who went to school here for seven and a half years, and save yourself as well as your children the trouble. This school only cares about appearances. If you are looking for an excellent education in Collier County, go to the Community School of Naples or Naples Classical Academy."

"We are about 6 months into our first year at MCA and we are very pleased with our decision to send our daughter here. The rules are strongly enforced but they make them very clear from the beginning. It’s their way or the highway, they rule the roost unlike most modern day public and charter schools. Everyone is treated the exact same and are held to the same standards— there is no special treatment which I really appreciate. Classes are smaller, as is the school in general. My daughter is 6 months into kindergarten and she is thriving. She is excited to go to school! She can write, do math, tell you her history geography lessons, and is even reading which she wasn’t prior to this school year! The education she is getting is unbelievable and we’re just starting out. They have clever ways of teaching the students helping them retain the information somehow. She can recite the pledge of allegiance and preamble and has such pride in being an American. The school also promotes the importance of giving to the community, specifically our veterans which we LOVE. It is a more conservative school, the things that seem to be trending in public schools aren’t trending at this school. (Per what I’ve noticed in our friends who go to public school vs what I see at mason). The kids take pride into the way they look and act because they are held accountable for doing so. The morals and values being taught to my daughter at home by us AND at school we are so grateful for! I highly recommend everyone to at least tour the school to see if it’s a good fit for you and your child(ten). This school is a huge blessing for our family and many others."

Our kids have made incredible friends and their education has been phenomenal! We are constantly having a blast doing events and social gatherings at the school. We love our MCA family!!"

"We transferred both of our children from, what is commonly know as the best elementary public school in Naples to Mason Classical Academy. And what a positive difference have we experienced! Beginning from the leadership, along with all the teachers (who by the way are mostly young and dedicated to really teach, not just prepare for state tests!). All the office employees and administrative staff are just wonderful and always very helpful. However, most importantly I am sending my children to school to experience rich and quality education where history does not begin with a Mayflower but existed millennia before that. I expect my children to know where is Europe and the history that took place there. I expect them to learn classical literature and be able to think critically for themselves and form their own opinions. I expect them to learn Math without calculators. I expect them to grow loving and respecting the country they live in and the fellow citizens they will live with even if they don't agree with their point of view of different aspects. That's exactly what we as a family found in this school. I absolutely love when my children enjoy reading Shakespeare (in 5th grade!), are able to identify Michael Angelo's paintings, can name the major rivers in different countries and find them on the map. I love they are respectful to their teachers and peers. Even though respect and discipline should not be thought in schools but rather reinforced. Mason Classical Academy is a wonderful school. The school rankings along with a long, long waiting lists confirm this is not just my opinion but other parents and students as well."
