"I had to pull my son out of this terrible school after a terrible incident involving a sharpened pencil a bully and my sons shoulder. Enough said. Don't make your kids go through the same thing mine did"
"its really bad i just can't do this anymore"
"The Village School I started out in in sixth grade was a wonderful experience. The negative comments are not a good representation of the school some of the negative comments told kids being taught by a DVD when the teachers are showing a episode of a series or a movie about the lesson we learned to cater to children with Visual understandings and not only kids who learn audibly. When I came to the Village School I felt welcomed and the place almost being a second home to me. I've been in the Village School and will continue through their high school."
"My daughter moved to The Village School from public school this year and loves it. She is very happy and is learning so much. It is quite clear to me that the reviews posted are personal in some nature and that is too bad. If you are considering a loving place where kids come first, please visit for yourself and don't listen to someone holding a grudge."
"We are the Proud Grandparents of a 7th grade student who has been attending the Village School since the age of 18 months, and has just earned the Honor of becoming a Member of the National Junior Honor Society. We give full credit to the Village School, and the hard work of our Son and daughter-in-law in the development of this great achievement. We completely agree with the review written by the Anonymous Student, and condemn the following comments by a disgruntle parent: "I want to start off by first saying that the review with 5 stars and great vocabulary and grammar was not written by a village school student. That was written by an administrator or teacher trying to cover their tracks. This school is one hundred percent corrupt and needs much help". I'm sure this Anonymous Student is also a Member of the Honor Society because one of the many requirements to become a member is to write a five paragraph essay which must contain "great vocabulary and grammar". Also, as far as we know, there are many parents who take time to "help out" at the school, and at home, and I'm sure this parent is not one of them. A child's brain begins to develop right after birth, and it is the parent's total responsibility to see that it develops to the highest standard, before, and while attending a private or public school, and can benefit from the education they receive. If any parent is not satisfied with their child's progress, they only need to look into the nearest mirror to see who is to blame. The main benefit of having a child attend a private school verses a public school is they are in a school with other children who want to learn, without and government mandated rules, and with full support from their parents. We believe, from personal observation, that the Village School is unique in its approach to opening the minds of student's to all aspects of education, from exposure to art, music, sports, and the basics, that are taught in a manner that allows the student to learn at a higher level than public schools are allowed to do under rules mandated by government. We feel sorry for the children who are the subject of these parents disgruntle comments regarding the Village School, and hope they succeed, with their parents help, in another school."
