"Went here, which was regretful. Took over 1.5 hrs. to use shaver & clippers on my men’s haircut. Finally ran out of time & just got up and ended the unpleasant experience. Would not recommend, unless you have a lot of free time. Not the Aveda experience."
"I booked a silk press for my daughter and this is her 4th time here the last two times and she’s is 12 very mature I’ve never had to stay for her service which takes 2-4 hours and today they said I had to stay or they wouldn’t do it I literally almost had a break down because I didn’t have time to find someone else because her school dance is tomorrow and I’m with my 4 year old and was t prepairs to be in sa salon setting with a toddler REALLY WISHED THEY WOULD HAVE COMMUNICATED THIS WHEN I BOOKED they asked her age and if she’s been there before and what she wanted that’s it"
"Kaitlyn did a great job on my pedicure. She deserves to have her name out there. 10/10 recommend!"
"On a Saturday, I had a 9am appointment at the salon. Upon arrival, I noticed ongoing construction, and there was a delay of over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once greeted, we proceeded with the check-in process and met our stylist approximately 10 minutes later. She was courteous and considerate. However, I must concur with other reviews that the pricing structure appears inconsistent, and it seems they improvise the rates for their services in the moment. During the approximately 5-hour duration at the salon, I observed a lack of organization, which raised concerns about the establishment's integrity. It appears that the institution may lack the necessary resources to adequately prepare its students for successful careers after graduation. While waiting for my daughter's hair to be completed, I inquired about a mani/pedicure, and they managed to accommodate me with a student. During the services, an instructor entered the room and addressed a student with a client, informing her that she would need to forego her lunch if she wanted to complete her services. This interaction made me uncomfortable, as it seemed to lack appropriate time management and professionalism. I shared my concerns with the student and client after the instructor left, and unfortunately, I encountered a similar reaction. Although I understand that it is a school environment, the manner in which time management is taught should be handled more appropriately. The instructor's behavior came across as impolite and vindictive, which is not conducive to a positive learning experience for the students. Additionally, I observed that the students were not provided with an adequate selection of tools to use during the nail services. For instance, when I selected a polish for my manicure, I noticed that the options available were old and crusty. This became evident when my manicure started peeling off in full chunks just one day later, indicating that the polish used was indeed very old. It is disheartening to witness the students completing services with such outdated and subpar materials, as it hinders the quality of their work and the overall customer experience. On a positive note, I must commend stylist Evelyn for her outstanding work on my daughter's hair. She demonstrated patience, kindness, and skill, which redeemed the overall experience of the visit. However, I believe AVEDA should thoroughly assess this school's practices, considering the high tuition fees they charge, and ensure it aligns with their brand values and standards."
