"Excellent place to entrust your kids. Miss Ana and educators really take of children. My child learned a lot during the time he was at the academy and I am very grateful for all care that he received. Highly recommended."
"This place is amazing. My daughter goes here for vpk. She loves the teachers and the food. Great place."
"Pine Island Academy II was an amazing preschool for my daughter. She learned so much in such a short amount of time. The staff and teachers genuinely care about each of the children and I’m certain all of the kids in my daughters class really love the teachers. Every morning you are greeted with a warm welcome upon entering from Ms. Ana or Ms. Yari. They actually care about the families who bring in there kids and they get to know them. Ms.Ana P. And Ms. Lizette do a great job with the kids. They go over lessons in multiple ways to really teach the kids the content while keeping it exciting. They assign homework, but let me tell you, it’s perfect to teach and reinforce what they are teaching in the classroom and the kids enjoy doing it. And it’s not crazy amounts either, a ditto or two. They also have so many exciting things planned throughout the month, whether it’s celebrating holidays or birthdays or doing Dr. Seuss and other fun events. The children really enjoy it and come home so excited. The food that is served daily my daughter is happy to eat. Time flies each day and when you pick up your child they can’t wait to tell you about there great day. This has been such a wonderful place for my daughter and it’s been such a great experience for us. She is ready for kindergarten and it’s definitely because of all the tools she has been taught at this school. Would highly recommend to anyone needing care and VPK in the Cape. It would be wonderful for them to continue to grow and build a larger new school to teach more kids."
"The staff was extremely nice and informational with any questions I had. They provide transportation so your children wont have to ride the hectic bus system in the afternoons and the daycare was nice and clean. However, If you are a mother who needs help with childcare they are far from helpful. I received Early learning coalition for one reason and one reason only. I cant afford childcare alone. This daycare does accept it however they add on and extra $20 a child per WEEK to be compensated for the contractual amount they agreed on with the early learning coalition. IE: If the daycare charges $150 a week and the early learning coalition only pays them $100 (again this is an example) this daycare adds on an extra $20 to the parent so they can be compensated for the $50 the early learning coalition does not pay. So say your a parent and the early learning coalition calculates your parent fee based off your income as $6.60 a week the daycare then adds on their $20 making it $26.60 a week. For one child it isnt that bad. How ever if you have multiple your "Help" turns out to little to none. I have 4 children and with all 4 the bill per month would've been an extra $300 a month. To some, $300 a month is pocket change (congrats to yall) but for others thats food on the table. This is the first daycare I've ever ran across that adds there fees on top. Honestly, they should just stick with their fees and not even accept the early learning coalition. Thanks but no thanks. FYI my childrens daycares that did not add on extra fees were located in Ft Myers and Texas. I moved to the Cape and unfortunately since their schools are located within cape coral school zone they can not take the bus to their previous Ft Myers Daycare. So yes you can find those daycare that actually want to help. Enough of my ranting. Have a good day."
