"Sushi was great. The time it took to get our meals was very long, but we had a 12 person group with one waiter. The steak medium was overcooked but the chefs could have been off tonight. The location was great and the atmosphere was nice."

"Amazing location right on the beach. Atmosphere is vibrant outside in the beautiful weather. Food was delicious and the service was great! Very welcoming and helpful! No parking but they have valet, so it’s easy to just pull up and walk in. If you are looking for an upscale restaurant in the heart of Hallandale Beach, I highly recommend Etaru!"

"It was the first time there, we went on my birthday, because of the view and I heard a good comments from my friends who was there. First the service was terrible the stuff wasn’t paying any attention, the orders takes so long and our waiters changed 3 times and every time coming and forgetting something. Second the food was so bad, I’ve never been in restaurant with the food like this… My husband ordered a squid, it was overcooked, and burnt on the sides. I ordered grilled Waguy beef, the taste of it was like they they just boiled the meet and put on my plate it wasn’t medium well it was well done and without any spices or salt. The green salad was ok. The best from all of this was a French fries, because all of other dishes was so bad… I didn’t want to complain over there because I didn’t want to ruin my birthday! Also I ordered desert the chocolate lava cake and my husband asked them to put the candle, but because of the changing stuff they just forgot about that and bring just a cake without anything. I was so disappointed and sad. Maybe because I was also pregnant, but I just wanted to spent a great time on my birthday and eat good food! After all of that my husband went to staff and asked them to bring it again with candle and they just bring me the ice cream on other platter with h the candle on it. So after all I will never go and never recommend this place to anybody."

"I came with friends in the evening, we sat outside so we could feel the beach breeze. The decor was super nice, the food was excellent and tasty. I had the salmon and a bunch of other things. The service was quick. They messed up on one thing but they quickly corrected it."
