"I ordered their linguine with seafood and creamy sauce, it was quite good, but the calamari was pretty chewy and I ended up not having most of it. There were also a few flies that kept bothering us as we ate. The staff was kind and attentive, not overbearing. Overall I'd come back but perhaps sit away from the windows."
"Everything we ordered were delicious. For the price I would expect the bigger portions, but it was a great gourmet experience!"
"I’m a little late getting this done. We were there on Oct 21st and we had the best seafood platter ever! The parillada for two was absolutely delicious, the service was perfect & the atmosphere was nice & relaxing!! We were on vacation & my husband of course wanted seafood so that morning he spoke to the gentleman who was putting the tables out & found out that he was the owner. We went back a few hours later & had the best meal! I also strongly recommend trying the passion fruit mousse! I’ve never had anything like it, it was creamy & delicious. We enjoyed the experience so much that we went back again the next day. The only thing I recommend is that you look at your receipt. The gratuity was added in & my husband didn’t notice & tipped on top so they actually got 40%, our mistake not theirs. Either way, I strongly recommend this place!!"
"We've been here years ago and decided to visit again. Very good service, food was overall delicious. Tostones were amazing. Lobster bisque was very good, not overly salted. Lobster ravioli had very nice added chunks of lobster. Surf and Turf shrimp was very good, the steak was decent but not amazing, yuca fries were yummy. Lava deserts very good, not overly sweetened, thankfully. Lobster tacos are very tasty if you like spicy and sweet. Mash potatoes were terrific, black beas delicious. Calamari was overcooked. Chicken was a nice portion, a bit on the dry side, but seasoned nicely. They changed their decor SD if it isn't as fancy, and it feels way more casual, especially for the costs. Liked the old decor better. BUT here is the main reason I did not give more stars. They included a service fee even for small groups AND give a recommended tip cart at the bottom which can easily cause a customer to double tip AND they add a NON-CASH ADJUSTMENT charge if you pay with a credit card!!!! Yet, we had no idea the prices were basically cash-only prices!! That was not verbally disclosed to us, and we missed seeing it on the bill until after we paid. Credit card processing fees should NEVER be passed onto the customer, that's just bad business in the restaurant industry. Overall, felt it was overpriced by about 15%. My recommendation is lower prices on main courses and desserts, drop the fee for credit card payments, and fancy up the place a bit, and you'll get more repeated business. I'm not sure we'd go back."
"Arrived for lunch at 12:00 pm. and immediately seated. First positive thoughts were about the intense cleanliness of the restaurant which doesn’t occur in many restaurants on a strip. The waiter then gave a detailed presentation of the catch of the day and the additional coconut shrimp. He seemed to know his menu in detail and was able to answer quick questions such as how much the catch of the day weighs, etc. I asked for a lemonade and it came out whipped with an amazing presentation of a strawberry on top and a light pink coat to the drink. Eventually, I ordered the fried calamari as my appetizer and it was amazing. Flavored well, and was easy to eat. Then for my main coarse I ordered the catch of the day, the snapper. In under 25 minutes it came out with another amazing presentation of the fish. This dish was an amazing main coarse that made flavorful an understatement. The server made the experience as well with his fast service and kind attitude. Total cost was in budget and didn’t exceed $65. Finished lunch at 1:00 pm. Overall, a clean, fast, and delicious place for a quick lunch or enjoyable dinner! Will be returning!"
