"Just be very careful with drink orders. I asked for a tequila and club soda, a ranch water. When the server ask if I wanted to double or single, I said a double for the first one, a single, for the second. I was shocked to see that I was charged $37 for the first $19 for the second. I had asked for a mid-level tequila. What’s worse, without any notification, I was charged a 6% service charge and automatic 14% gratuity (for a party of 1) on top of the already marked up subtotal…. A more than 20% tip. Turns out, I actually am a generous tipper, but I don’t like it when that decision is made for me. The food was unremarkable but decent. It felt like an absolute tourist trap the way they priced the cocktails and the way they snuck in service charges and gratuities without saying anything. I would never return to this place."

"Apologies for the confusion. Let me adjust the review: As a party of two, my experience at Taco Taco Miami Beach was underwhelming, to say the least. Despite the establishment's purported commitment to customer service until the wee hours of the morning, we encountered a lackadaisical attitude from the staff. Our simple request to adjust a table light was met with indifference, with the server implying that our needs were inconsequential as closing time approached. Furthermore, when we asked for a more intimate sofa table suitable for our party size, we were directed to a larger table meant for six, adding to the already disappointing service. While the food's taste was acceptable, it failed to impress, and its presentation in aluminum bowls and plates felt incongruous with the restaurant's ambiance. Most disappointing, however, was the meager portion sizes, reminiscent of children's meals rather than a satisfying dinner for two adults. In summary, our experience at Taco Taco Miami Beach left us feeling neglected and dissatisfied. It's unlikely we'll be returning anytime soon."
