KÓMMA Mediterranean Restaurant 560 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

"MOST DISAPPOINTING experience. my man and i went for valentine’s day, and understandably there were a lot of people so it was hard for the waiters to be extra attentive to each and every table but waiting ONE HOUR & FOURTY FIVE MINUTES for the most PAINSTAKINGLY AVERAGE food was UNACCEPTABLE. there was a couple seated in front of us who waited 3 hours and their reservation was at 7:30pm, they finally got their first appetizer at 10:43pm.. there was also one waiter who tended to 10 different tables, and all the other waiters were in the back arguing and doing anything. there was also a valentine’s day special for $75 per person, my man ordered from the special which included an appetizer (mix mezze platter), an entreé (chicken kebabs), and dessert (baklava). I decided I wanted to order off the regular menu and not the special, yet Kómma charges us for TWO specials ($150) whereas they should have only charged us for ONE!!!!! I got Kómma Shrimp which was only $32…. yet they charged us $150 for both specials… we will never be showing our faces here again."

"A wonderful Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of South Beach. The restaurant is humongous, with a massive outdoor garden area, very romantic and pretty at night, I highly recommend eating out there if possible (perfect for date night!). On the night I went, they even had a live guitar player. The food was excellent, I had the grilled salmon - cooked and seasoned to perfection, along with grilled asparagus. The sides and appetizers can easily be split between two people. Ended the meal with their homemade chocolate lava cake that's served with vanilla ice cream, very decadant. Full bar, cocktails, and wines by the glass available. Large list of liquors, spirits, and cordials too! Friendly and attentive staff, hope to come back again soon!"
