"It’s something about bad service that makes you never want to go back to a place. I went here for the first time a month ago. Ordered the shrimp dumplings. I would say about 3.5/5. However the service was HORRIBLE. The girl with the purple hair served me. She was very rude and just not friendly which I believe to be important in a customer service role. Not to add that when you sign, it adds a 20 percent extra gratuity. I didn’t mind, I work in the industry and know the struggle. But when you literally sit behind a screen to type my order and then bag it and then on top have the audacity to be condescending. You deserve zero. Nonetheless, I came and returned because I was craving dumplings. I visited yesterday. My dumplings were horrible. They were over steamed. I mean just a complete waste of money. And I even found something black in one of them. TO ADD, the same girl with the purple hair.. more concerned about her own lunch than a paying customer. Please sit this little girl down and have a chat with her. She should not be in this industry with the attitude she has. If you’re truly unhappy with a job, please leave. I will not be returning to this establishment."
"Bento Box is amazing! Owner Fil has a great concept. Street parking. Turns into a nightclub outside, great vibe."
"The dumpling sampler was amazing! What a great opportunity to explore the menu. Every single dumpling was absolutely delicious. Whether it was steamed or fried, regular wonton or green wonton, shrimp or pork, I enjoyed everything about the meal. The two spring rolls were a perfect way to start the meal as well. The mango boba tea was almost like having a dessert. Will be back to explore more of the menu!"
"Worst soup dumplings I've ever had the displeasure of eating. I orderd a milk tea and soup dumplings...my total was 15 something. The milk tea was okay, definitely not worth the money though. I only received three dumplings. They were sad soggy, small soup dumplings, I should have known not to eat them. They stuck to the paper and ripped apart before I could even try them. After 1 and a half I refused to eat the rest. Which by this time was starting to look more like cat food than soup dumplings. I threw the rest away."
"We are all about an Asian food hall and we found this spot inside 1-800 Lucky. Covid-19: we were able to eat outside on the patio that was very empty. We got the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, Char Siu Bao, and Crispy Mini Bao which came with a condensed milk dipping sauce. Everything was delicious. The soup dumplings were smaller than others I've had, but still just as good. The Char Siu Bao were perfect. The Crispy Mini Bao were a great, unique dessert. It's a little pricey. Each dish was very small and cost about $10. We spent over $30 for what felt like a few snacks. 1-800 Lucky is a must try food hall in my opinion and this place is worth checking out while there."
