"Pretty disappointing overall. We came for the extensive Gluten free options they have and we have had in the past. We asked 3 times for the gluten free bread basket, and that never came. The gluten free pizza was good. We then got an order of gluten free spaghetti since they were out of their gluten free gnocchi. It was horribly cooked, felt like we were chewing gum. Food took a long time to come out, restaurant is small with a few too many tables since staff are constantly asking for you to move in or brushing up against you trying to get by. Our servers, albeit busy, did try to keep checking in with us. Wound up cancelling the rest of our order since it was not too enjoyable to have my food while having to wait all over again for them to redo the dish."

"5 minutes away from FLL is this wonderful pizza heaven (along with other great dishes like pasta). My wife is gluten free and we ordered ahead a GF Ricotta and Spinach pizza. Not even Chicago, which is where we live, has such an amazing GF pizza. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed."

"Pizza was amazing! Service was mediocre, dessert was a big disappointment. Tiramisu - wayyy too much cocoa powder on top, no taste of espresso & barely any lady fingers at the bottom, I basically just got the mascarpone filling with cocoa powder dumped on the top. Would come back for the pizza!"

"When you travel a lot like me you learn to appreciate what feels like a home-cooked meal. Staff that treats you as family. A chef who is proud of the product they put in front of you. That’s Gioia for you. Don’t expect super fancy garnish or other things your stomach doesn’t care about. What you get is 5***** comfort food, served with a friendly smile and a check-in from the chef. And as others have commented, amazing gluten-free selection. Never seen anything like that. Their gf bread, which is made on premise, is the best I have had around the globe, period. My only suggestion would be to lower the additional charge for gf options ($5). It seems high and will make celiac people not being punished for something they don’t want to deal with in the first place. We’ll be back very soon! Update: we returned two nights later and our experience was even better: the tuna carpaccio with truffle shavings is divine. And the pizza with which Chef Massimiliano has won his world championships, the Sfiziosa, is the best pizza I have had in my life. Ever. As dessert we ordered the pizza with Nutella and fruit, gluten free. My family voted it the best gluten-free restaurant we have ever been to, and again, we travel a lot.
