Reviews
"Authentic place. Very limited vegetarian options ( we sample them all). Fried Yukon were excellent, the plantain fried patties were too dry and not edible . Mahi mahi very well done and presentation, so were all side dishes. The owners can stop with complementary bread. It is not a good quality and it was left untouched on all the other tables. Nice place, affordable, authentic."
"Always seen this spot driving by and wanted to stop and boom perfect evening time for it. Called ahead to see if it was busy then came and age had chicharon whole snapper fish with rice and split peas. And everything was amazing. Had a beer price was great. Such a cute mom and pop definitely the name goes with a touch of Cuba. Inside is so cute. Small but also spacious. And outside outdoor seating is cute with string lights so cute. The whole place I will be back."
"Food is excellent! Taste of mama’s home Cuban cooking! We had the lamb/chicken/ cuban tamale for appetizer., all good! Don’t forget to try their Coffee! (Cortadito) is far best I tried on this trip."
"Sadly, this place use to be good. Lady order garlic shrimp, which I had before very good. Key was the garlic shrimp was separate from rice. I ordered for pick up and this is what they had the nerve to give me(see pic). Just trash and not cheap, then they want to inconvenience you more, now I need to go back to the restaurant to get a refund. Just get a new customer, sad."
"Honestly, I would give it a 3.5 if I could but I rounded up to a 4. The staff was nice and so was the atmosphere. My only negative mark was that I expected the steak sandwich to have more seasoning. At the same time, this was my first experience at a Cuban restaurant so the flavor of the sandwich might on par. My friend ordered the fish and he said it was really good. The Tostones came with a garlicky liquid that was really good. The sweet plantains were delicious. As was the Cuban tamale."
