"My buddy and I really enjoyed food. It’s not very expensive. Make sure that someone in the group knows how to cook lol because you have to cook your own food in front of the hot plate in front of you but it’s kind of fun."

"I arrived here on a Wednesday night and was so glad to see there were plenty of tables! I would hate to have arrived and waited a while for a table to open. I was seated right away and for 2 people, they only provided 1 menu. As we tried to awkwardly gawk our heads a certain way to read the menu from each opposing side, we realized hey their pictures look pretty good. Our server came to take our order. We started to order but she limited us to 4 meats per round or for the 1st round. So we ordered 4 meats and we were able to order unlimited appetizers. We didn't see a lot we were interested in but we went with the gyoza, jabchae noodles, and the meats were the hawaiian steak, the premium steak, the bulgogi and the galbi. The bulgogi and galbi were pretty good. However the galbi was so thin. The hawaiian steak turned out to be our favorite. It was very thin but came with pineapple each time. Grilled pineapple is so yummy! Then the premium steak was so thick. It wasn't good once grilled. We ordered 2 more rounds of meat. We tried the shrimp and the pork belly as well. Pork belly was so thick! Ruined the taste after it was cooked. We noticed that they used a lot of low quality meats. Also given that this is $30/person for dinner. The good stuff was thinned out - not providing much meat. The excitement is definitively in the all you can eat concept but the food itself is only okay compared to other Korean BBQ spots in south florida. However, for downtown Ft. Lauderdale area, the food is good."

"Our first experience to Gen was out in CA a few years ago which I felt was a little better. This Las Olas location is surely spacious and clean atmosphere. We went for lunch on a Saturday and were immediately seated. I would say it’s good value for price at $35 / person all you can eat. FYI, weekend are all day dinner menu and prices. Lots of choices of meat. We only tried a few of the more basic one. Quality of meat could be better for sure. Services can be better as it was slightly slow. Still a great place to hangout with friends and family if you’re just looking for a Korean grilling style place."

"I’m not typically an all you can eat person, but I had to take my family to try out this place! We were delighted by the amazing service, great food quality and selection for their dinner menu, priced at $30.95/person. Didn’t care for the desert item, so hoping they add other simple options like a sorbet, or even ice cream or fruit! Make sure to go hungry, and parties of 10 or less don’t need a reservation!"

"It was recommended by friend. We were there for happy hours after work. The place is very nice and clean. The atmosphere was great. The service was friendly and helpful. The vibe gave you a good mood to eat there. We ordered a few appetizers. They were okay. We ordered some meats for the BBQ. We have been to so many Korean BBQ restaurants. The All-You-Can-Eat one is usually okay, which you cannot expecting too much. However, this one is a chain which it should be better. Unfortunately, the marinated is under average and the quality of meats should be better. The price is reasonable, but they can do better. We are not sure we will go back again. We gave them 7.8 out of 10"
