Jimmy's Eastside Diner

"I decided to visit this diner after my Norwegian Gem Panama Canal cruise due to the local ownership and good reviews. Both my friend J and I had a great breakfast. The service was very fast and the meal was worth it. $7.25 for two eggs over easy, country potatoes and toast. Much more generous portions than Denny’s or IHOP. They do not offer espresso, but my friend liked the coffee. This was my first visit, but it definitely will not be my last. Thank you, Jimmy’s Eastside Diner staff for an excellent breakfast and fast service."

"This place smells so old and dusty. They have failed to keep up with the times. Worst diner experience. I ordered an omelette with hash brown, specifically asked them to keep the Omelette well done, to my disappointment it was half cooked from the inside. And the hash potatoes were very oily and had a funny smell to it, I'd say coffee was the only saving grace!! I wouldn't recommend this place."

"For a European, this is just like in the movies. Great nostalgia vibes. The pancakes/hotcakes are fantastic. And the staff are very polite and accommodating"
