"Tarks is one of the best hidden gems in all of this side of Florida. Small, no frills, hole in the wall spot. They focus on good food not knickknacks and distractions. Food has always been fresh and on point. Today I ordered Gator bites, 2 oyster shooters, and a blackened mahi sandwich with an Amber beer. AMAZING! So sat at outside table, looked at the menu, went inside to order, they brought out the food, and cleaned it up when I was done. I had a moment of just pure contentment with my decision to eat here for lunch today. Don't miss this spot if you are around here. Good job guys, keep up the good work!"

"We wanted a spot with a ‘locals only’ vibe and we found it at Tarks!!! The wings are as advertised!! Delicious, juicy, wet and have the perfect level of crisp. The surf and surf featured the best blackened grouper I’ve ever eaten. Also had an oysters and let me tell you they were on point!!! Curly French fries and sweet tea were also great! Atmosphere you have counter seating inside and some tables outside. We sat outside and you get some of the horns honking and revving engines expected on a beach strip, it’s a vibe! Staff are super friendly and efficient. If you sit outside you have to go in to order and they bring it out to you. I’m telling you this was the best food we ate all week! Had to pick up a couple t-shirts for the road because we loved the place. Definitely give this place a visit, you won’t be disappointed. They e been around for over 50 years for a reason. Cheers!!!"

"Great rustic place, the service was very good... good quality to price ratio, good crocodile bites calamari were so so but overall recommended... and very cold beer !!! Don't hesitate to visit next time."

"This was by far one of the best priced seafood we ate. It was delicious, really enjoyed the mom & pop atmosphere. It's basically like a deli, but with seafood. There wasn't a long wait on food. I had the fried shrimp + garlic and the crab legs, both were excellent."
