Pollo Tropical

"I don't understand how they consistently get my order wrong, especially when I'm not asking for any special preparations being made. Just ordering prepared as appears on menu. If you're dining in, it can be rectified but God help you if you're having it delivered, which I need to. Never prepared correctly, thrown in the bag haphazardly, and never given the quantity ordered (if I order two or more of any given item, I will only receive one). On one occasion, I had to place 3 delivery orders because they kept preparing my order incorrectly. I then actually had to drive to the store, with my 3 incorrect orders, to show them. The other Pollo, off of Stirling and University, is better but that's not the closest store to my delivery address. The store phone is forwarded to corporate, who will take down your info for a GM to call you, who never calls back to rectify the issue. It's a disgrace what little value is placed on their customers, via both management and corporate."

"Love chicken they make here, but this location was horrible. First they got my order wrong, it was hard to communicate with them since no one spoke English. I ordered their cilantro tripichop but it looked nothing like the menu barley had a spoon of avocado . Place wasn’t that clean either."

"I buy food often at this location because their chicken is always fully cooked and delicious however, the service for years has sucked. (I deal with it because of the great chicken) Tonight was a very different experience though. So different that it was worthy of my time to write this review and recognize one young man’s superb customer service. Esteban did an incredible job taking my order and offering choices. He was consistent in his attention towards me, had great verbal communication skills, great memory, efficient multi-tasker, and had exceptional initiative. I haven’t received good service in such a long time that it felt like I was in a movie. I think at one point I looked around to see if anyone else noticed! This kid might just have leadership quality! If he continues to work hard and maintain his great attitude, he will go far! Keep it up, kid!"

"I go for lunch with a friend once we are done with class, we always get great service and food. The only complaint I have is that there needs to more pork in the tropichop and to change something in the cilantro sauce, it kind of tastes weird. I have been there on more than one occasion so I have a few pictures. Definitely at its price a better alternative to the chipotle near by (which they are very light handed on everything in the bowl)."
