Everyone is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the administrations is very patient and understanding. Being a part of an institution that devotes all of it's time to teaching and training future nurses is VERY rewarding. The faculty and staff are extremely dedicated to the success of each and every individual enrolled/employed here. The pay is more than fair, and benefits like health insurance, PTO, and sick time are all offered!"

"I am in my first semester with Jersey College of Nursing. From the very first day of applying to the college, it has been nothing but a pleasant vibe. I am at the Port Charlotte campus and it is like I leave home to go home. The instructors are so reassuring and compassionate. They treat you just like family. Mrs. Yanckello and Dr Voepel are amazing. Mrs. Y makes sure and does whatever needs to be done to ensure you have understanding of the curriculum. This environment ensures no one gets left behind. I could not have picked a better environment to earn my RN degree and at the Jersey College Port Charlotte campus I will accomplish my dreams and be a successful graduate and nurse!! "I’m in my second year— each semester I am overwhelmed with the knowledge, experience, & passion every instructor has to offer. I have had HORRIBLE experiences from previous programs (bullying and power trips from staff) and NEVER experienced that here. They truly care about guiding us through our teaching/clinical experiences, to get the maximum benefit for our future careers. It’s also worth mentioning how incredibly compassionate, supportive, & understanding through Hurricane Ian. I can only speak for myself— I am very happy with my decision enrolling!"

"I am in my last semester of Jersey College's RN Residency program. Our class started in Jan 2021. We are the very first class for the Port Charlotte campus. They say that everything that can happen badly in life will happen in nursing school. Well, let me tell you that is so very true. Our class has been through so much together. We have made it through tragedies, life-saving events, losing a physician we all loved, and a Cat 4 Hurricane. In February of 2022, my 14-year-old son was hit and killed while riding his bike to school. That morning I was taking my midterms at the Port Charlotte campus. My world stopped at that moment. I wasn't sure how I would make it to the next minute, hour, or day, let alone worry about school. Every one of my instructors and classmates knew how much finally coming back to finish my RN after 18 years of being an LPN, meant to me. Every student and instructor showed up to my house, they made a go fund and raised $14,000 for me in less than 24 hours. Every one of them came to my son's funeral. They held me up when I couldn't hold myself up. I made them promise not to let me give up. My son was so proud of me for finally going back to school. I knew that giving up was not an option. I had less than one year left. The staff and students kept their promise to me. They walked me into my first clinical after his passing. They were there for me every step of the way. I can't thank the staff and students at Jersey college Port, Charlotte for all the love and support they have given and still continue to give me. I will graduate on January 19, 2023. I will finish my last semester on December 16, 2022. I did it, but I couldn't have done it without these amazing people. Some of the best friends I have now, I met during my 2 years at Jersey College. The staff is dedicated, and always there to help with whatever you need. The entire staff has an open-door policy, you can speak to them about whatever you need. The program is a great program, but the real-life experience, the love, support, compassion, and teamwork, are what I will always carry with me. There are some things you can't learn from a book, some things can't be taught. Jersey College, PC not only educated me on becoming an RN, but they also taught me how to be a compassionate, loving, understanding, leader."
