"I come to Saquella all the time. Since the new owner has bought the place he has not only raised the level of service, bringing it to the best it’s ever been, but also has restocked the bakery with incredible imported Italian and French pastries. Besides the bakery items the food quality and presentation has largely improved and it’s very easily noticeable. The negative reviews are pathetic to read, as the owner is a perfectionist who wants things done correctly, and therefore it might be why he might come across as aggressive to some. Saquella is the spot to go, you will never regret it, don’t believe these lies."

"New owners jacked up the prices and decreased the quality of the food. The ALL AMERICAN is now $16, up from $12 a month ago. 3 pieces of bacon became 2 pieces and were dried out and inedible. The latte was good but it is half the size it used to be . The service was horrible. The eggs were prepped incorrectly. Over easy was served overcooked. The bread basket was not brought out with the eggs. I had to ask for bread three times. When it finally came, the eggs were cold. I asked for water 4 times!!! When I saw the waitress finally walking over with water, it was for another table who just sat down. There are so many better choices for breakfast in the area. Too bad because Saquella used to be a once a week go-to. I don’t like being made a fool of either. The menus look old and tattered however they were printed 2 weeks ago (rear of menu says it was revised on 1/1?/2024) and reflect the tremendous price increase. Maybe nobody would notice?"

"For 15 years, I've been a loyal customer of Saquella Cafe, and I'm so excited to tell you about the amazing changes the cafe has recently gone through. The service and atmosphere had been declining over the years, but as of December 30, 2023, everything turned around for the better. At first, there was a bit of tension with all the changes happening, but by the third week, I was blown away by the improvements. The service became more attentive, the staff was incredibly professional, and the food quality was beyond my expectations. My usual breakfast of egg, meat, and cheese with a cappuccino was served with beautiful presentation and tasted absolutely delicious. And let me tell you about the bread pudding that the new owner, Wolf, added to the menu - it's seriously addictive! Speaking of Wolf, the new owner, he has truly made a positive impact on the cafe. You can see his passion for enhancing the dining experience in every detail. And I have to give a shoutout to the amazing staff, including Bella, Michael, and Daniel, for their exceptional service. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the incredible changes at Saquella Cafe. If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend stopping by and seeing these positive changes for yourself. "I ordered the David.. egg white wrapping a deliciousness of veggies, plus 2 thick slices of sweet potato and a choice of a side (mine was fruit). I asked for no cheese because I'm watching my cholesterol intake. The staff here was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Loved this place (has a lot of outdoor seating) !!!"

"Extremely rude waitress on early morning of Saturday 9/16, she stepped in front of me when I was trying to enter and she did not even hold the door, then she kept “mean bugging” (hateful stare). They somehow ran out of coffee cups, and I had to explain to the barista what a drip coffee was. The pain au chocolate looked like an abomination. What an ordeal, never again."
