"We sat at the Bar. Shout out to Shannon she has everything organized very well and she didn’t skip a beat. We didn’t need to ask for anything. She filled our glass with water as needed. My margarita was delicious. It’s my first time here. I truly enjoyed my time there. My cheeseburger was made perfectly."

"We were in Pompano Beach on Wednesday on business and decided to have lunch at our favorite Houston's. We have eaten here several times and have always loved sitting outdoors by the Intracoastal watching the yachts, boats, airplanes, and jet skiers go by. The ambiance is very relaxing both indoors and outdoors. We always know that the food here is going to be above par and they didn't disappoint this time either. We decided to order our favorite lunches. My daughter had the Hawaiian ribeye with fries, and I had the French Dip sandwich with fries. Delicious and it hit the spot! We passed on dessert. Our server was Jasmine, who was very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Service was quick and friendly. I would like to add a special mention about A.J., who deserves a gold star for going above and beyond her duties by helping me when I was having a physical difficulty after getting up from sitting too long in my chair. My knee gave out, and I was in severe pain. I couldn't walk and was holding on to the table umbrella for support. I was stunned and couldn't think how I was going to walk to the car. I had my cane with me, but it wasn't enough support at this time. A.J. rushed over to ask me if I needed help and offered her arm as support to help me make it to our car. Without her help, I was stuck in one spot because I couldn't move. Slowly, we started walking to the parking lot. When my daughter saw the trouble that I was having, she jumped out of the car and came running over to help. I made it to the car with their help. A.J. was so gracious and helpful. I am very grateful to her and hope Houston's Restaurant recognizes what a valuable employee they have in her! She saw an emergency and rushed to resolve the situation without hesitation. Thank you, A.J. Parking is easy and available right at the restaurant. They also have wheelchair accessiblability. The location is easy to get to from I95. We look forward to going back again in the near future."

"Best food I’ve had in my life. Atmosphere was perfect. I do think it would be better without the music. Service was flawless. I would definitely recommend the Hawaiian Ribeye, Cheeseburger, and Spinach Artichoke Dip. They were all 10/10. Only issue was the key lime pie was $12 for a small slice that was lukewarm, watery, and sour. I recommend this restaurant to everyone."

"IMPORTANT DETAILS GOOD: Nearly everything - service, food quality and quantity. The atmosphere is tasteful and relaxed BAD: Nothing really - the prices aren't cheap but fair for what you get Houston's was a gem. Our server was wonderful and the food was well cooked and delicious. I had a wonderful, large NY strip and the other diner had the pork chop and mash. Pork can be easily overdone for instant leather - not here, very juicy. The open kitchen adds further class and style to the experience. I'd advise a reservation to avoid a lengthy wait."
