Reviews of Sebring High School
"Absolutely suck, charged a $20 sitting fee for photos for seniors, I had no intention of buying because their prices are outrageous, and get yearbook and my daughter is not in it. I have never had to pay a sitting fee for any of my other daughters that graduated from there, this is a major milestone for a child, they should not have to pay to be in a yearbook, ecspecially when yearbooks already cost $55. They could at least have the decency to put her name in it. Kids that aren't even graduating from there anymore are in it."
"sometimes the teachers moan in class. not sure wt theyre doing. very strange. caught teachers kissing one time. also got 12 referrals (don't know why I haven't been expelled for this) for NOT CONNECTING TO THEIR WIFI. I did one time, and they checked all of my text messages, even my mothers. not sure what's WRONG WITH THE SCHOOL."
"Some teachers are great, and you actually learn from them, but there are some teachers that are absolute trash. They never get up and teacher, but assign a lot of work and expect you to know the material. The lunch is disgusting. Guidance doesn't work with you at all. They pretty much avoid answering any questions, and always treat you like nothing. Plus, you even ask them when scheduling is, and they tell you some random bullsh*t about how they're busy blah blah blah. The principal seems okay though I guess."
"The teachers were wonderful. The administrative staff was extremely difficult. When requesting my transcripts be sent to my college, they told me to "fax over a request". When asked if this was a form or something, the woman I spoke with said, "No, fax over a request with your name and the address for it to be sent to." There was NO mention of a fee or official form. It's best to go in, but if you've moved away after high school, this process is unnecessarily difficult. This misinformation will cause unnecessary stress when you find out you've requested your transcripts wrong. They need to fix this."
"Its a welcoming school, while all the teachers aren't the best, some of them make life amazing. I've met great people my short time being there, defiantly should be considered if moving to Sebring."
