"Went for the first time a couple of weeks ago with my niece (January 2024) and everything was fine and dandy until a lady picked up a verbal fight with one of the staff members and the loud lady wouldn’t keep it quiet, she kept trying to scream at the staff. It was an unpleasant experience but I think Pollo Tropical asked her to leave bc the lady just started leaving? I’m not sure what happened but quite a few tables weren’t clean. However, the food was ON POINT! And I’ll probably come back again because the avocado bowl was delicious. The Yuka bites are yummy too! The churros I do not recommend."

"Ordered the mojo pork w/ 2 sides. Pork portion was incredibly small. About 2.5 bites worth. There were more onions than actual pork. I was undecided whether or not to bring it back to the counter. I decided not to as the staff all seemed to have a shockingly bad attitude. This has happened before. I do not plan to return to this location or any other locations."

"Very generic place. Lazy staff, they lied about their cash machine it was down. But encouraged us to go in the drive-thru and pay and order there. I had to create an online account and order online and still she boxed and bagged everything in when I clearly mentioned that it was a indoor dining. Food was stupendous as usual. Too bad that it was tarnished by the laziness of the staff."

"Went a few months ago and was not happy with the service. They had just implemented the online (QR code) service even inside the store, so it was not only confusing to a lot of us, but very slow as a result. Food is good, the quality hasn't changed. Went back last week just to try it again as i always liked PT, but it was just as weird. This time, tho, they had a person taking orders for those who preferred the old way (like me). As before, the food was good, but this time inflation hit me hard! I couldn't believe how much the prices had increased! The tiny cup of plain white rice in the picture was nearly $3.50!!!! This particular PT (don't know about others) feels like you entered some sort of twilight zone ... Weird ... Can't understand why the owners (or corp, who knows) would let what used to be cozy and inviting become such an impersonal, uninviting place. Will definitely NOT go again."
