"I was a former student of Dundee Ridge Middle School (which is now Dundee Ridge Academy) from the last semester of the 2011-12 (was on online school on first semester) in 7th grade to the entire 2012-13 school year in 8th grade on campus. I have remembered that the school was known for one thing: too many fights. I have witnessed fights in schools. There is also had kids having behavior problems getting themselves in trouble and they either get ISS (in-school suspension) or OSS (out-of-school suspension) as a result. And the school gave students 2 minutes to go to class or you'll be sent to detention (can't remember the name, but I'm calling it that). The teachers and the staffs are very kind, but in the same time felt bad for them to deal with kids that either doesn't care about school or actually struggling due to mental health issues like depression, anxiety, etc, which some people didn't take them serious. The last thing about it are both uniforms and backpacks and binders. I've remembered that you have to wear a current color of the shirt for the uniform based on your grade, and the backpacks have to be either transparent or meshed. I wish everybody, both former and current staffs, former students, and current students a very good greetings."

"School is amazing I would recommend it to everyone, although I don't go to this school anymore it was on my mind about ho good all the teachers were. Its really easy to get around the school. The only bad thing I could say is that some teachers hold students even if its one person. This has happened to me and my brother because we are in Spanish class and our next class is gym and its on the other side of campus. Otherwise great school"

"This school is great! My brother says he enjoys it because he can take his pet turtle for walks ?!... But the campus is very nice and clean and the teachers are very friendly. The school gives students many fun events and opportunities too like rockin raider, golden tickets, track, volleyball, dances, family events, ag, chorus... and there are a lot of electives. And teachers and staff are really good at pushing students to keep their grades and work up. There are a lot of rules and procedures to follow but it keeps the school together."

"My daughter goes to this school and LOVES it. She’ll tell us all about her day at school and what they did in class. And she’s excited everyday to start a new day. The staff is amazing. "Great school, many opportunities and helpful teachers, I currently do not attend this school as I have surpassed towards a higher grade level (High School). Spent all three grade levels in this wonderful place. The reviews below are quite inaccurate, However some food may not be satisfying, and yes the uniform is expensive. No there aren't field trips hopefully they return for next generation. I've also heard that the fifth graders are being removed for some reason, Furthermore I'll explain my past experience from 2014 - 2017 In the beginning I was very nervous it felt as if I was in a whole new world, my first class was "iTV" where we would broadcast, produce videos, news, and edit on Macintosh Desktops on a software editing program known as "Final Cut Pro" it was very entertaining as for I had a passion for computers. I had a Language Arts teacher which was amazing I had her for all 3 years. She also was and will always will be the most inspiring teacher with such a high level of intellect, teaching, vocabulary, and motivational aspects that you'll have to experience to fully feel the amazing connection. Due to the passing of my mother on Oct. 25 2015, my Language Arts teacher supported me for the rest of my school years here at Dundee Ridge, she was very passionate as well for other co-staff and faculty. They were very supportive! To conclude the opportunity in this school really is given by faculty, they are caring, and always there to help, however negative discipline is not tolerated as your child would cause parental/guardian calls. Overall an excellent school for students whom seek for success in the near future. As do the teachers provide for high school as well, make sure your child is attentive and not lacking attention towards their academics as for they could lose there successful path to their dream. Give them full awareness of how successful they can really be disregard the doubts and let them believe for their potential in the real world!"
