"We were a group of five looking for a late restaurant after a meeting. I think we arrived around nine. This place was recommended by someone in our group. She spoke highly of the food. We all ended up sitting by the bar. It was a beautiful bar and restaurant. The decorations are nice. My first impression. I walked in and made it to the. I stood there for a few seconds. The ladies did not notice me they were having a conversation, no greetings. I interrupted the conversation and asked if I could walk in and find my friends. I found my friends by the bar. We were five so we took most of of one side of the bar area. The bar had two people working it. One took the food orders and the other one the drink orders. The food orders were taken right away. I do agree the food was good. I was a little upset with the bartender's customer service because his back was 90% of the time turned towards us. He never checked on us. We literally had to flag his attention to our side. His attention was fully on the people in front of us. The place is nice. The booths are beautifully decorated and cozy. I liked what I ordered. I do hope the place works on a better customer service. Acknowledgment of patrons go a long way."
"This restaurant atmosphere with the indoor outdoor setting is a great place for any occasion. The night ambiance is a great place for date night. The food tastes delightful. We ordered the blue crab volcano roll for an appetizer while we waited for our to go order. I ordered the prickly peach margaritas and the lychee martini and for the entree the Volcano Fried Rice and the chicken hibachi, and all tastes amazing."
"I’ve been to Saikoi a couple of times with family members who go there often. They like ordering off the happy hour appetizer menu so on this trip there we didn’t order dinners. It’s an interesting restaurant as it has different areas with different vibes. You can sit at the hibachi and get a show as they prepare your food. The bar was full with people drinking and some eating their meals sitting at the bar. There is a nice outside area that you can enter from inside or outside the restaurant. We had a nice round table which was built into a corner giving us some privacy. The menu is large. There is lots of sushi to pick from. But there are also lots of non-sushi items to pick from. The tempura was a large order so everyone got to have some. I wasn’t a fan of the volcano rice as it has calamari in it. The volcano comes to the table in aluminum foil in flames for a nice presentation."
"This is by far my favorite sushi place in South Florida! It’s always fresh and flavorful. Anytime of day, any day of the week. I’ve had multiple bday parties here (inside and outside: both offer great vibes). Never done the hibachi. We always stick with sushi. The Valentine Roll will blow your mind. Affordable boats for two, great happy hour options, and fab lychee martinis. I can’t wait to go back!"
"We participated in a family celebration at Saiko-i and were very much pleased with everything the business offered. The food was delicious, the presentation was entertaining and the service was professional and accommodating. Our party was large (20) and they had double back-to back hibachi tables to accommodate us in our own corner of the building. Family members ranged from 5 years old to seniors and all ages enjoyed the experience. The dietary needs of some of us were met by the chefs upon request. I had been to this location before this business occupied the space. It was once a lively sports bar with pool tables. As much as I enjoyed shooting pool here, I love the transformation to the hibachi and sushi restaurant concept. I can't comment on the sushi, but I highly recommend the hibachi meals. We plan to return again in smaller groups and try more of the menu. It seems like the type of place where everything is top notch."
