Bartow High School

"It's a decent school don't get me wrong, but some of the kids are super super prissy and think there better than everyone else. There's lots of gossip about ignorant stuff and kids just don't know when to shut up, my advice to new kids / don't have sex with everyone like most 9th graders and 10th graders do, just be your self and stay to your self, focus on your school work and get it done and get out! The staff is great and even though I've been suspened for roughly 15 days in total throughout my year they were very fair and nice! I love Mr.Webster, and Mr.Draper, And All of the discipline staff! Great school other than the kids and occasional drug dealings and sex in the bathroom and the rare but exciting lock downs when someone brings a gun... 2/5 would kinda recommend"

"Lots to do & learn, a lot more freedom than other schools, plenty of time between classes, great security, fun sports events, free lunch & breakfast... It's epic! #CO2018"

"I have attended this high school for all of my high school years and this school has the most school spirit in Polk county. This school makes me want to have my kids attend here for the amazing education this school provides. With a state champion streak in cheerleading, the only public military school in Polk, an IB world class school, and the only nationally certified medical academy in Polk who would not want their kids to attend here. Go Bartow!!"

"The treatment of Kiera Wilmot is beyond the pale. Seems that irresponsible dolts have run away with a system implemented to educate responsible citizens. The entire school system, police and prosecutor need to act like responsible adults; apologize to Kiera, her family and the community. Maybe then they can begin earning back the respect the positions deserve. Shame on you, the police and justice system in your town. You're another all too familiar educational embarrassment to the nation."

"Its great that there are three schools Bartow, Summerlin and IB, but the school should not be treated as one whole school as they are not, they should each have a different school code and report scores separately. IB used to be one of the top 10 schools in the nation before we were united with regular Bartow, Now we are not even close to being in the top 500!"
