"this school is terrible, i’ve been going here for 3 years now.. some teachers are nice, but half of them are mean and terrible. the sports here aren’t the greatest, and the coaches are so bad. but the academics are good tho."
"Hi i’m Kiki, and this is the most honest review you’ll meet. Bell Creek is an A- school, and I can agree the academics are great. It allows for you to really advance in your academics, and work on what you really want, but the system is faulty, and needs improvement. I’ve been sending my child here through middle school and high school, and i’ve never seen care being given from any administration. The school focuses on dresscode when, as a college school, that shouldn’t matter because in college what you wear is not important. Although these comments say bullying, i’d like to label that as badmouthing and drama, because from what i’ve heard no one can keep their mouth shut. I love the no homework rule for my child so they can focus on studying and after school sports and activities like drivers-ed, dual enrollment, after school math tutoring, and language courses. The test correction position is also faulty and should be changed to correcting your mistakes and not having to go to “tutoring”, which is total bull. The principal seems cruel, and dress coding my child for jeans with no holes, is not written in the school handbook. Along with the school handbook, why can’t they wear hoodies? And have their hood up, makes no sense, but that’s fine. Faculty is way too passive aggressive when I pick up my child and can’t be sympathetic to save their lives. The problem at hand, and what’s resulting of this issue is the amount of teachers leaving. I see, and hear about it all the time and it’s really making me wonder, why? I’ve told you why. Statistically speaking, the student to teacher ratio is 28•1, with only around 500 students? Whereas a normal public school has 19•1 , and varies from 1000-2000 students. Where’s the logic to that? My real issue as a parent is the horrendous traffic. I’ve heard there’s been traffic advisory of some sort but it seems to be getting worse. While so may kids walk, it takes me 20 minutes to drop my child off in the carline alone. This school is infamous for having awful traffic and bad drivers with a bunch of road rage. Please fund some things to make this problem resolved. Anyways, there is much room for improvement in this school and I hope to see some changes rather than ignoring the fact that no one genuinely likes this school. If I’m being honest we need a better principal to lighten the pressure on the staff, administration, and students to lighten the path from there. While she is a great instructor, she runs Bell Creek like a military base, I would know, lol."
"The school's way of handling student traffic is God awful, both in the cafeteria areas and just the traffic outside the school in the morning, they could really use a good bussing system like the public schools, but they don't get it. Bullying was rough in middle school, no one targeted me directly, they were all pretty passive aggressive about it but still. However, their high school has done wonders for me, I was failing at other schools and I'm managing to start pulling out A's. Unlike other schools I don't get harassed for asking sick leave (I'm chronically ill). middle school - 1/5 high school 4/5"
"Our family personal experience at this organization has been great. Teachers friendly students are ok. My child haven’t had any bullying towards her. I only gave 4 stars because some her teachers are still putting in my daughter grades slow. Nonetheless they update all of her grades before last day so I can’t be mad at that which I’m not just the suspense that have me on edge of my seat. I recommend BCA. Hope this help"
"Around 2 years ago I had written a review saying how good the school was and, all the problems I really blamed on how young the school is it's only been open for maybe 6 years. Truthfully it's gone through three principles in the past 6 years. And they keep on changing how they run the school. It's really hard to connect with anybody because everyone leaves and there's not a lot of continuity. The school is supposed to prep you for college and have a lot more requirements then the public schools yet I feel they need to take the time to think about the students. Most of the students here all I hear in the hallways is them complaining about how the school is ran. And while I think the school might look good on my college application I feel as if I missed out a lot of things while they have been figuring out how they're going to deal with the school itself instead of thinking of the students experience. I'm still very happy I chose to attend this school. I enjoy my choice but, I feel as if they need to get to a good system of running it. I felt as if the protocol of last year was amazing and this year they completely changed it and personally while is really good choice for your child they will miss out on a lot of teenage experience and may not be super happy with the staff there."
