I've been training and flying out of KVDF for about 8 months and find the planes are usually well maintained. It's a good location to train. Easy to progress as long as you self-advocate."

"Fantastic place to train. I received my PPL, IR and am finishing up my CPL (Heli) through Tampa Bay Aviation. I've had several instructors, all of whom were motivating, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. I've never once felt like instructors were sending me on flights I didn't need. Big shout out to Julian Eisenreich, who has been nothing short of amazing to train with. Their chief pilot, Josh Montour, has also been incredible to work with. Overall, this school is definitely a great choice for price, flexibility, instructors, aircraft, and locations (currently at KVDF, previously at KCLW)."
