"I am a veteran and attended the marine program. They talked me into adding the OAD program after I completed the completely separate marine program. Completed and passed the marine program with no issues. The OAD program is 3 courses that do not have involvement with the marine program. (Just to make that clear) Passed the first course no issues, ended up not passing the 2nd course, and then passed the 3rd course no issues. Told them I’ll take the L with this OAD program because I will not be coming back and retaking any course. Proceeded to inform me that if I didn’t return to school and retake this course and pass it I will not be getting my marine certification. Absolutely absurd! Do not recommend this school to anyone, even if the VA is gonna be paying for it."

"Parents please consider your choice very selectively! I dont feel the training is good. Most instructors not great, but like most schools. Communication is not good. They lie and dont get back to you. Keep records of everything that they discuss with you. But dont trust them. And they wont get back with you!! They test on information that is not taught. Then they make you test at the end of the day after teaching you new stuff. I went to a different auto school and my son is going here. Price to value I would not recommend. Comms are poor. Not alot of tools for everyone. Not alot of hands on like you would expect. Teachers just tell you to do things with no guidance or.very minimal. Schools performs lower than expected. NEW ADD: They tell you upon graduation you get a $1000 voucher for tools. LIE, they changed it to 800 but to use it you actually have to use an extra $300 to make it $1100 to get the voucher. Lies dont send your kids here, or.dont go yourself. Save your money, and time!!"

"If i could give this school 0 stars i would. I am a veteran and I am using my GI. I am currently a student here at the Orlando location. I have been attending this school for the worst part of 5 months. Here is a breakdown of the school so far. 1.) 3 hours of class (really 30 minutes) 2.) Labs are not good, some teachers wont help 3.) 3 hours of online homework (Truly have to teach yourself) 4.) No real help or support like they claim 5.) Waste of time and money 6.) 50K tuition I am taking their diesel course, the automotive classes i took were okay but not good, every lab is old and broke down, using zipties as replacements for bolts in valve covers, pencils replacing valve stems, just terrible. My first actual diesel class i was so excited and on the first day of this class, the instructor i had taught me nothing but UTI sucks, all class long. The only thing I learned is how to replace a tire on a rim. The instructor wasted my time and money, next class is hydraulics. They decided to bring an automotive teacher in the class, and this man literally read word for word from a projector for most of class, refused to answer questions, and when he would answer questions he would contradict himself, making the only reliable way of learning is your homework. Its okay though, because the school is hands on, lies. Do not believe that by any means, every class is death by power point, every student gets their hand held and carried along, whether you actually pay attention or not. If you want to get something for your money, go anywhere other than UTI orlando. If you do decide to come here just know you wasted your money just like me"

"I’ve recently toured the campus and I felt really good about it. The tour guide was super great. The students seemed to be engaged as well the instructors. I’m very honest when I post a review because I take other folks comments seriously. I’m impressed that UTI takes the time to respond to both negative and positive comments. They also give negative experiences a solution in order to rectify a problem by wanting to further discuss an issue. One of the problems that I have is the hours that are required to watch videos online. I am disappointed after reading some reviews mentioning that because it was never mentioned to me or if I had been I missed that part. I assure you that I didn’t have knowledge of it because I wouldn’t felt as hopeful about attending as I did. I’m a seasoned guy and combat veteran I don’t have much time to watch videos. My suggestion would be to make sure that information is communicated somewhere on the website or in person before you sign to this commitment. There’s no need to respond to this comment. I just wanted to express my thoughts on this because of the derailment I’m feeling. I realize everyone has an opinion but when everyone has the same opinion then there’s concern. Just because you’re a student you shouldn’t be treated as a child. I can’t say that I’ve had that experience but I would hate to find out later that it’s true."
