Hot Pie Pizza

"Do not order pizza for delivery. 1hr and 30 mins later we got our called pizza and wings. After waiting an hour I called Hot Pie to ask where our food was and they hung up on me after telling me it was Uber’s fault. Called them back 5 mins later to ask for a refund and they told me to call the Uber driver. HORRIBLE Service. Too bad because it is good food….when it’s delivered on time and, you know, hot. After being hung up on, talking to a manager who was USELESS I was told I could not get a refund. Now waiting for owner to call. I will not order from this place again. COMPLETE JOKE!"

"We were in town for a quick getaway from the DC area. We were looking for good wood fired pizza after the one we loved closed down. Found this great little place to eat off the beaten path of busy Clematis street! The owner John a New York transplant, knows how to make some really delicious pizza. It's a small relaxed place with amazing customer service. Our server Mia was fantastic, attentive and fun. Her mom who has worked there for 10 years, has clearly done a great job! We have definitely found our new place when we are in town! Highly recommend."

"The menu literally says to ask about their happy hour. I asked about it... and there isn't one. It's bait and switch. Come for our happy hour... sike!!! They also have a sign advertising $5 draft beers... but they're actually $6. Seems like a pattern of false advertising."

"Such a nice spot to eat. Great service, our waitress was the sweetest and accommodating. Portions were right on and price was beyond reasonable. Highly recommend the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Mayo - YUM!!"
