"Their chicken is second to none. Piping hot right off the grill. I always order the 1/4 white meat with beans and rice. I tried the new cheese yucca, and it was yummy! Great quick, healthy lunch option."

"The food is standard as to what you’d get at any other Pollo Tropical location. However, this location needs to be renovated. The outdated and dirty interior make the atmosphere depressing. I’ve been to other locations that have been renovated and they are well-kept, clean and have a welcoming atmosphere."

"Flavorful Cuban food, good portions, and it’s affordable. No complaints really. We got the Cubano, cheesy yuca balls, and ropa vieja with rice and black beans and a large side of plantains. I am obsessed!!!"

"My daughter and I got three tropichops today and when she was half way done she took a piece of hair out of her mouth from her bowl. She was disgusted. But that's not all, she looked at the bowl and there was another piece of hair. We have never had a problem at this location, it's the nearest Pollo Tropical to my house. We are local customers and we even get reward points. But today I was very disappointed."

"My family bought dinner from Pollo Tropical tonight and were happy that we did. The portions are hefty, fed 5 of us with some leftovers. We ordered a Family Duo with chicken, white rice, and black beans, fried yucca, chicken soup, a strawberry tropic chiller, chocolate chip cookies and a decadent chocolate mousse. The people worked super hard getting the orders out in a balanced fashion from the dining room and the drive thru. My husband and I shared the 5.5 ounce chocolate mousse, and it was the perfect amount. I would've easily given this restaurant 5-stars, if it weren't that the sweet plantains (my husband's favorite part) were completely missing from our order."
