Star Swim Club is a highly esteemed swim school located at 401 East Bearss Avenue in Tampa, Florida. With over 18 years of experience, our result-oriented and interactive swim lessons cater to students of all ages and skill levels. Our instructors, Ms. Olena and Mr. Igor, are accomplished athletes with over 30 years of swimming instruction experience each. Safety is our top priority, and we aim to instill confidence in our students by mastering proper swimming techniques.
Our indoor heated pool allows for year-round swim lessons, with instructors always present in the pool with their students. Parents can observe lessons from our air-conditioned observation deck. Our small class sizes ensure individual attention and encourage social interaction among children.
Olena and Igor, former aquatic athletes themselves, founded Star Swim Club in 2004 after moving to the United States. "Star swim club is absolutely AMAZING! Miss Olena & Mr Igor are a fantastic team! They push the students while understanding where they need remedial work which is the perfect balance (not a one size fits all approach). Communication is key with young children and they nail it! There are fun activities happening throughout each class which keeps the kids engaged and gives them the motivation to continue to learn and grow. The place is tucked away and not the most visible but you will not be disappointed with this hidden gem! Our 3 year old went from scared of the water to completely self sufficient! She calls herself a mermaid and she definitely proves it in the water! Up next, our son who is about 22 months will be headed to the pros!!
