"Apparently they seem to be $ hungry. Tried to start the admission process & ended up being passed around to 4 different ladies who all made me repeat the same info to them over and over until I finally decided that if they can’t even get the basic info together on their end, then that just means the entire experience will be the same. So big NO! Red flags all around."
"Stay as far away from this school as you possibly can, they don't care about actually providing you with a good education they only care about cashing your monthly payment, I graduated in July and the entire time was awful. the onboarding process was rushed, we didn't get our tools till about 5 months after we paid for them and they didn't even come with the bare essentials, we barely did any labs and labs we did do we where told to fix the equipment without having any actual training on how to trouble shoot or repair the equipment, they never seemed to have any of the supplies like gas for the torches or thermostat wire, speaking of thermostat wire we didn't learn how to wire a thermostat until 9-10 months in, every day we had class we would just do our assignments on the computer then we where dismissed early. There where many times that we had instructors from other trades teaching our class and they had no knowledge of HVAC. I have complained on numerous occasions and was just given excuses after excuses, I asked for extra help and have had it set up with one of the instructors yet they never showed up to help me. The EPA 608 class was an absolute joke the teacher never taught a single thing about the EPA so I had to teach myself. I told them they need to make things right and they ensured me that they would, their solution was that i can come in for extra training after i graduated, i reached out on numerous occasions to get that training and never heard anything back, I reached out to the executive director once again and i was told that that he would reach back out to me and that was a month or so ago and have yet to hear anything back. I sunk the last bit of the money I had to go to this school and they completely took advantage of me not to mention every other student. No idea how they manage to stay open."
"Military veterans avoid this school completely I graduated June and they still owe me financial aid money. Even though the GI bill covers everything. Some kind of double dipping, I don’t even know how they allow a school like this one to stay open. They will keep telling you we’ll take care of it before graduation it’s all a lie. Training is below standards if you find anyone from the June 2023 HVAC grads that are happy with what they got it will be a miracle. Most of them just acquired a debt with nothing to show for… Avoid"
"IF YOU ARE A VETERAN DO NOT ENROLL AT THIS SCHOOL. School is very unprofessional and you cannot get ahold of anyone. They have not payed my husband for 3 months going on 4. All the students have been sending Sergio (who is in charge of the things to do with the VA) emails and none has been answered! I even called the dean and nothing! No call back! Don’t waste your time. No one has done anything and even if you call other campuses, no one will do anything for you. So save your GI bill for a school who is professional and does care about its students and most importantly their veterans!"
"I am a disabled veteran and Senior citizen and in January of 2022 I started classes at the Deland campus in HVAC. The VA is paying my tuition which has been agreed upon by both the school and VA. The VA has agreed to pay half the tuition upfront 25 percent when the classes are done and the remaining 25 percent upon successful employment . The VA and school both agreed to these terms in what is called the participation agreement. It is basically the contract . So I also applied for student loans and grants to help with housing and meals during the time I am in school. My first student loan was given to me in late February with the pell grant which came to about 5000 dollars. My next loan and grant was sent to the school in April for around the same amount 5000 dollars. The school gave me 499 dollars of this money and said the rest would go towards tuition. The school already got paid 12350 dollars in February and now wanted to take my loans and grant. I tried several times to get this money but was denied repeatedly. The VA said that the GI bill forbids any school to require a veteran to pay any tuition out of his pocket or his federal aid unless they agree to. I never agreed to and they took it anyway. I just filed a fraud complaint with the Dept of Education and retained a lawyer to file a lawsuit and possibly file criminal charges. These people are crooks and I wish I could change schools but the VA says I cannot . If you are a student beware of these people they will try to rip you off. Thanks"
