The DAVE School - The Digital Animation & Visual Effects School is located at 2500 Universal Studios Plaza in Orlando, Florida, United States. As a leading institution in the field of digital animation and visual effects, the school offers a comprehensive VFX course that covers principles of hard surface modeling, texturing, lighting, and look development. Students also have the opportunity to explore organic modeling and digital sculpting in ZBrush, creating creatures, people, and animals.

In addition, the school offers a Game Production program where students collaborate on creating their own game from pre-production to Gold Production levels. The three-month studio residency on campus allows students to work together under the guidance of their instructors.

The flagship Virtual Production diploma combines elements from both the VFX and Game programs, teaching students how to use LED wall virtual sets, lighting and production techniques for real-time production, and emerging technologies in media creation.

"My son Trevor jr attended a seminar at Dave school 2022 just for a weekend. Trevor did get a job as a photographer elsewhere. I believe when he was applying for the job, he mentioned attending Dave's seminar. April 2023. Hip, hip, hooray."

"Nothing but lies. I was told that I would be able to continue working while attending school. Not the truth. They also don't tell you that most of the work gets outsourced. If you have a family, you're not going anywhere. Think twice before moving forward with this school. Owner is only interested in making money, doesn't care about people's careers."

"DAVE school is better than sliced bread ! Our granddaughter is currently enrolled and is having a wonderful experience . It is not for the faint hearted . It is demanding , teachers tough ! But , that's what makes a good gamer / animator . Get a part time job . Do not go for the school's housing . To expensive ! Find some room mates and go for the apts that are close to the school."
