"I recently reached out to the Academy seeking information, but unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The staff I interacted with were rude and unhelpful, making the process unpleasant. I believe it's essential for customer service to be more accommodating, especially when individuals are seeking information. I hope Mckeel Academy can improve its communication and customer service to provide a more positive experience for potential students."

"All Mckeel schools in general does not care about kids with any disabilities or ese needs they are a burden to them and make the child feel unwanted and honestly they don't want them there they preach all this kindness and no bullying but behind all that fake you have it actually happening by adults to students and there families they careless what you are going through.They will give you a hard time till you can't enjoy your child's school years and want you to dis enroll your child because it is too much work for them to accommodate them when they have the ability they just choose not to and yet they don't mind getting federal or state money etc to do what they desire with it which is unfair to the student and other schools who have to comply unlike them they consider themselves special and above the laws of school requirements.They will however choose there favorites by what you have to offer them.There also a sweep it under the rug type school and they like to play games and have each others backs to stab you in yours hypothetically speaking just know they don't care about your child especially if your a special needs /ese kid and how they get a way with it is beyond me and the system is so fixed and allows it to happen!This school deserves no stars ⭐️:( but they made me to do the review."

"Quit picking up children on 540A and stopping four lanes of traffic rather than pulling into the subdivisions like every other school in lakeland. Everybody has asked this school to do this for years yet they keep putting our kids at risk picking them up on major Boulevard. The only school that won’t pull into a subdivision Clubhouse to pick up children safely. I tell everybody I know not to send your children to this school! Garbage administration."

"McKeel didn't have a mandatory mask mandate when most of these reviews were written and the mandate the did have when the schools first opened back up got lifted way before Polk county schools did so I don't know why people are complaining about it. Also the reviews about beds and no blankets was in reference to when it was used for a hurricane shelter from Ian. They tried their best but can only do so much. Be grateful they had a bed for you at all. I am thankful for McKeel especially with the growing population in Polk county and no new schools being built. I don't have to worry about my children's education lacking due to classroom overcrowding."

"This is an excellent school. No bullying. Very academic. I cant say enough about how this school helped my son. When he was having trouble with algebra. They have excellent teachers and programs where students can get extra help after school to improve their grades. The students are very good, well behaved young people. This is the way ALL schools should be. No bs. No bullying and have measures in place that knock that in the bud right off. Students look out for each other. Nothing like what goes on in public schools."
