"This is my fourth semester teaching at Jersey College of Nursing in Brooksville. My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The administrative and support staff are highly dedicated and always willing to help. Their commitment to creating a positive learning atmosphere is commendable. I've also had the pleasure of working with motivated and engaged students who are passionate about their education and the nursing profession. The sense of community among students is truly inspiring. The school’s simulation lab is equipped with the latest technology that provides students with hands-on experiences that mirror real-world healthcare settings. The innovative approach significantly enhances the learning outcomes for your nursing students. The school promotes inclusivity and diversity, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for students from various backgrounds. The diversity enriches the learning environment and prepares our graduates for the realities of a diverse health care landscape. I am grateful for the positive experiences and look forward to continued growth and collaboration."
"So there are positives and negatives to anywhere you go. Here are some of the positives. Crisann is a wonderful, kind hearted, warm soul. She does so much for anyone who goes to school there. Megan is also a wonderful soul, she can crack a joke but also be there to give you an ear to listen. Ms Elyse is also a very giving, caring, and hard working teacher. There are some difficulties but over time I feel like there will be positive changes. Brooksville is definitely a good campus to go to"
"The school itself is good, I like it. All of the instructors/staff are friendly and helpful, I haven’t met a staff member yet that wasn’t nice ( this really does make a difference). The work load is manageable, the school is a little unorganized, but not horrible. The person I really want to acknowledge is Chrisann. Not only does she care, but she goes above and beyond for EVERY STUDENT! She is an amazing human and I’m so happy to have her support through school. She always has a positive attitude and I know I can always count on her. Thank you Chrisann, not only are the students lucky to have you, but Jersey college should be proud to have someone like you on their team."
"I am almost done with the first year of the two-year RN program here and I have been thoroughly impressed. From the receptionist to the Dean, all the staff is welcoming, happy, and willing to help in anyway they can. As with any occupation that is pursued there will be personalities that you just don’t click with. However, with every instructor I have encountered this far, they have all conducted themselves in a professional and fair manner. They treat us all equally and offer tutoring and extra help if and when we ask for it and it aligns with their own busy schedule. Respect here is coveted, if you give it, you will get it back in return. If you do the work, show up, and ask for help, the instructors will dole it out to your needs. Also, a big plus is that Tampa General Hospital has bought the Bravera hospital locations that this campus is affiliated with and in doing so has bought all existing contracts with students that have entered for employment and tuition compensation. Which is an amazing perk for a new grad! This school also offers a mentoring program where an instructor periodically checks in with you and offers advice and support when and if it’s needed. Each instructor that is employed here has a specialty background that enhances their teaching ability. I have not yet met a subpar nursing instructor here at the Brooksville campus. Here’s the thing that can get dicey, Jersey College in itself is a new school, and the Brooksville campus is even newer, therefore, there are higher standards for us as students. As it should be, in my opinion. We are training to be a professional in one of the most respected careers and that does not come without rules or regulations. My advice is that if you’re thinking of entering this program, is to follow the rules, do the work, show up, give respect, and set the bar high for yourself. Challenge yourself and know that the staff will be behind you encouraging you on and helping you understand the content so you can achieve this goal!"
"I absolutely love Jersey College. It’s been an awesome experience. From the moment I enrolled I was welcomed with a warm and friendly environment. Chrissan she is kind and always has a smile for everyone. The instructors are exceptional, especially Mrs Megan Tice. She truly cares about students success. I have a lot of admiration for her. Her extensive knowledge, dedication, and passion for teaching have greatly enriched my learning experience. She has gone above and beyond throughout all my 3rd semester. She is a wonderful instructor. I have not only gained knowledge but also formed lasting friendships. I highly recommend this college!!"
