Billy, the SCUBA instructor from the Tarpon location is an exceptional teacher / guide to help you get set on a great path for scuba experiences. He truly enjoys what he does and takes care to ensure every student has a positive learning experience. If you need gear for your courses, MACS provides it with the class. A lot of the basic techniques are taught in very comfortable warm heated pool (makes your experience much more enjoyable in the winter) All of the MACS employees are extremely helpful and provide wonderful customer service."

"I got my certification a few weeks ago. Billy was my instructor, who is the best in the business. He has decades of diving experience and teaches you real life situations and practical applications. When you start out as a scuba diver, the most important lesson to learn is how to stay calm in any situation. Billy will explain dozens of scenarios and show you how to react or avoid them. "I took a scuba discovery class at Macs sports Tarpon Springs. Billy, the instructor, was extremely patient with me as I was very nervous about my first experience scuba diving. He was able to help me overcome my fears by easing me into the process slowly. My husband and I then signed up for the open water certification scuba class.
