"This school has been the most wonderful experience for my kids. We have been there for 3-4 years. My kids struggled in public school became a number. At this school they get one on one help with teachers and I welcome to talk to teacher at anytime needed. They communicate with me. I do recommend parents that have unpleasant experiences to check and make sure you have not just dropped kids off in circle be part of your kids education If you go inside get to know these teachers and staff you will quickly become a family. Micanopy Academy is working hard to continually better themselves and offer a wider range of after school activities and educational opportunities. This school might not be for everyone but it has been a blessing for my child. He has completed Middle School, one of the most trying and confusing times of his life, as a whole confident child. "My son attends Micanopy Academy. This will be his second year going. I love the small close knit feel that this school offers. Staff is friendly. Your child is not just another student lost in a big school. Everyone knows each other and gets along. The teachers are fantastic anytime I've had a question or a concern they took the time to address it. Being in a smaller class my son gets the attention he needs and isn't crammed in a classroom with 30 other students. I highly recommend this school to any parent that is feed up with large schools and not feeling like your child is getting the time and education that this school provides."
