"I came to the hospital tonight to see one of my friends who had a heart attack and give him a mobile and tablet charger. I stopped at the entrance of the hospital and a lady checked my ID card. I was very polite asked how can I go to Va room 48?? She told me that we don't have room 48 and are you sure? I checked again and said yes, now how should I go to the VA building and she said I don't know!!just go this way and ask. When I parked my car in parking and back to those door that the lady told me go there !!I found out all door are closed and I walked around 20 minutes to back to my car and drive back to the lady to ask for help and still she told me I don’t know and when I told her please call some one to help me it’s night time and I have to drop these stuff for my patient in VA section she soo sharp treated me very rudely. unfortunately she didn't know map and refused to help and started taking pictures of my car license plate and calling the police and reporting that I violated her??I still can't believe that an employee can do this with people and don’t know hospital map and Enterance door for night shift or even she didn’t call to ask or try to help !!!and I went to emergency and drop my friends stuff and when I got my car police stoped me and asked me some question and when I explain for him all the story he said sorry ,we don’t know what is wrong with this lady and I promise them I will follow up to management know this disrespect reaction !!! How you can work there and say this is not my job and I just need to check the People ID !!!After she took a picture of my car tag and I asked her nice what is your name and she didn’t told me I took a picture of her face and share it here and I hope to help her to be normal person first and learn to respect the people."

"The VA took amazing care of my dad over the holiday. We are so impressed by all the nurses, doctors, and techs that we had thought the stay. They were very thorough and kept us up to date on the plan. They advocated to get him the tests he needed and took time to explain to us what was going on. Glad that he was here during this stressful time and thankful for the team at the VA. Would highly recommend this hospital."

"The nursing and doctor staff here are top notch. I can't say enough about how they've made a difficult situation as easy as it could reasonably be. My dad was checked in for life support and the team here made sure that every step of the way we were informed about each medical decision and what is going on. The reason this isn't 5+ stars is because the security staff don't seem to go through any kind of sensitivity training whatsoever. The healthcare staff said we could stay overnight in the lobby because of my father's critical condition, which although stable still needed us close by. We weren't even thinking hotel yet just trying to get through the night. Well after finally being able to sleep in the chairs we were woken up at 5:30 in the 3rd floor west ICU by an officer telling us not to leave but we couldn't stay ???. Honestly I was confused at what was being asked but we were told we can't stay overnight but also that we didn't have to leave. I'm not quite sure what the point was. It just felt cruel. Again healthcare staff is 10 out of 5 stars. The rest of the staff in the building, not so much."

"People have said how bad the V.A. is... to me, they are Amazing!! They really care about veterans and their families!! Clean facility. Got to wear a mask for protection. They have an amazing cafeteria with a lot of options. Even sushi!! Lots of parking all throughout building."
